I have been a fan of KathNiel since 2012, and it has always been my dream to write a fan fiction for them here in Wattpad. Several attempts were done to no avail because I was either too busy or too uninspired to do so.
It was an afternoon in November 2016 when I saw the teaser for La Luna Sangre during the ABS-CBN Trade Launch. I remember how I felt so much excitement for the show because I used to love the vampires and werewolves genre back in high school, and I love KathNiel so much. It was like two of my favorite things combined in one show.
I suddenly had this strong desire to write a story for Kathryn and Daniel, not about vampires and werewolves, but of angels and demons - of forbidden love. I started writing the plot and outline of the story and the next thing I knew, I already published the prologue and the first few chapters of Takipsilim.
It was not easy, I admit, for working and pursuing your passion project at the same time is tiring. But I learned so much about myself throughout this journey. And the best thing about this is that I gained friends along the way. 😊
This story is not perfect, but I am proud to say that I poured all of my heart in writing each and every chapter of Takipsilim.
There will no longer be a Book Two. But who knows? I might be inspired to write a continuation of the story of Yael and Katherina, now Caleb and Dawn, in the future.
So with this, I would like to thank all of you for being with me since day one. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the votes, the comments, the views, and the reactions from every one of you, my dear readers and friends.
