The Nina and Emiko Chapter-chapter 48

  The bump on the road had caused a bigger aftereffect than Aaliya had bargained for and had woken Nina up.

  Nina groaned and opened her eyes drowsily. They hurt as they parted to take in her environment.Everything was hazy for full five seconds.Then she frowned and sat up at once when she saw where she was.

"Uhh....what in the world is going on?" she asked cautiously.

The two faces staring at her beamed and she leant back instinctively in shock.Then Aaliya's face appeared from the driver's seat and Inanna's from the passenger's.

They were all smiling at her,which made Nina think that either something was seriously wrong with them or there was something seriously wrong with her.

It had to be the latter,she thought,as she lifted her hand to touch her head.There was a swelling on the left side,and she could feel it throb underneath her searching fingers.

"Shit!"she winced in pain as her fingers rested on a small open wound on her head.She retracted them immediately.

"Ohh,sorry," the girls drawled,grimacing.

She looked back at them,then around her.She was in some sort of vehicle,with tinted windows and a type of net parting the front seats from the ones at the back.
The vehicle was painted white,and,if Nina was not mistaken,was moving speedily.If Aaliya was driving,then why in the hell was she facing-

"Ugh!"They all groaned as the car hit another bump and very nearly threw them all off balance.

"Aaliya!Can you fucking face forward, bitch?!"Mikaila and Suzanna chorused.

"Fine fine.Ugh,you don't gotta yell at me,y'know. I wanted to see how Nina was doing," Aaliya said,then faced the road.She stretched her neck to the review mirror and peered at Nina."How you doing,Nina?"

"Uhm...confused," Nina said the last part like a question, as though she was unsure that that wasn't the right emotion flowing through her.She decided to actually ask questions."Pardon me,girls,but where are we?"

"You mean 'where are we going'?" Suzanna corrected,bobbing her head up and down excitedly.

"Uhh...I guess," Nina replied softly,shrugging.

"The beach!"Suzanna and Mikaila chorused happily and burst into a bout of giggling.

Nina looked startled.

"You bumbling idiots!" Inanna snapped from the front. "Don't you see you're confusing the poor girl more and more?And with that bump on here head.Have some sympathy,doodleheads,and explain things to her.We wouldn't want her going into shock,or fainting again."

"Yeah,that's right.Then we'd have to take a hard turn to the hospital and everything White has planned will be ruined," Aaliya said,shaking her head.

Nina frowned,then winced as she did.It seemed that every time she felt an emotion,her head contorted in pain.
"Everything White  has planned?" she asked,still wincing.

Aaliya pursed her lips at once."Uhh..probably shouldn't have said that."

Inanna glared at her,then at Suzanna and Mikaila.
"Ughhh,how do I fucking survive with you boneheads!"
She turned to face Nina."Nina,just relax.Everything will be fine.You're-"

"Ei,why're you talking to her like she's some patient being rushed into intensive care?" Suzanna and Mikaila chorused,frowning.

Inanna glared at them.
