Run.

That was the first thought that rushed to her mind with lightning speed,and her legs obeyed before the rest of her body could comprehend what she was doing.Nevertheless, they fell in step and obeyed the command after their double take.

Her arms swung out in swift precise motions, her blood rushed through her veins like water bursting through a broken dam.Only one electrifying thought screamed through her mind,consuming her being.

Nina.

She had to save her,even if it was the last thing she did.The elevators did not even cross her mind as she flew the stairs.The railings burned underneath her palms as she rushed her hands over them to jump down the long flights of stairs.

The people in the lobby let out involuntary gasps as they saw a person speed past them.They could not tell the sex,for they only saw a blur of blue colors and a flash of short hair.

The wind parted the moment she stepped outside and Bella was stung for a second by the scorching sun.It felt as hot as the blood colliding in her head.She shaded her eyes for a split second, looking left and right frantically.
Which way first?

He didn't recognize her at first.Her hair was different.He squinted until his lenses zeroed in on her face.
Yes,he thought with a sly smile,that fierce face was definitely Bella's.

"Follow her," he said smoothly to his female companion.

She nodded,and without missing a beat,pulled the car out of the inconspicuous corner it had been hidden.

The car followed the racing female,trying hard to keep with her fast and frantic pace.

"Her number's unreachable," Emiko said,removing the phone from his ear with a frown.

Joshua frowned also."But it just rang right now."

"I know,right?It started ringing then it just stopped.Do you think something happened?"

Joshua shrugged."Maybe her battery died.Don't read too much into it,man,you'll reach her later."

Emiko sighed and shook his head,as he slipped the phone back into his pocket.."I can't believe I pushed her away.Do you think I should tell her about...?"He let his voice trail off.

Joshua was silent for a moment,his eyes assessing the large fluorescent lit classroom.Various students hurried past,others huddled together by their notebooks. Some seemed blissfully unaware that they were in class,as they fused their tongues together.He frowned in disgust.

Then he sighed and said,
"Look,Emi,if you really like her,I suggest you don't tell her. There's a high chance she won't accept you once she knows the truth.Besides,our exams are coming up.We should be worrying about that instead.These two girls have taken enough space in our heads alrea-"

"She's gonna find out someday if we eventually get together," Emiko interrupted,his fingers hooked around his chin."Then it might be too late."

"You asked what I thought,I told you.Don't tell her until you're sure she'll completely understand...and stay.Though,I doubt she will.Just forget about that ass for a second and focus here,a'ight?Our final exams are coming up.Hell,I've sworn to myself that I won't let my mind wander to that tigress today.Or ever."He frowned to himself."If that's possible."

"You have a point."

Joshua smiled."Thank you.That's exactly what-"

"Can't keep hiding it from every girl I date,though.It's ruined most of my relationships."
