The shivers
The tingles
My body froze when I felt the shivers on my spine. The tingles that I felt everywhere was enough to keep me still and my mouth dry.
The bell jingled, meaning that a person just walked inside the diner.
I turn around slowly to see a really tall, good looking, well built man with two girls who were like him.
Tall, good looking, well built
In short, perfect
The girls were rambling on and on about how long they've been craving for Big Joe's pizza while the man just simply ignored them and waited patiently for the cashier to return to where she should be.
I almost forgot that I was with another man sitting infront of me
Almost
"Alex" I turned around to face a not-so-amused John. "Sorry, were you talking to me?" I asked, blushing. He doesn't reply for a moment, he just looked at me.
I suck at guys
"No" He said, taking out his phone. He didn't talk after that, he decided to ignore me and focus on his phone instead.
If I was him, I would've done the same thing.
I sat there, feeling awkward, waiting for him to end the awkward tension or for the waiter to solve the tension by giving us our order.
I shove my hand inside my pocket to get my phone but it was empty. I tried looking for my phone inside my other jeans' pockets but still couldn't find it.
"John?" I said with a small voice. His eyes looked at me with suspicion "I think I left my phone inside your car, can I borrow your keys?" He hands me his car keys that was sitting on top of the table gently with a warm smile. I return the smile without hesitation and stood up.
I walked pass the three annoyingly good looking people who stopped talking and focused their eyes on me which made me feel one hundred times uglier. I quickly walk towards John's car that was parked beside a black Range Rover that wasn't there when we arrived.
I started feeling tingles all over my arms
The engine was on which means there was a person inside the car.
The shiver and tingles that I was feeling became worse when I was standing in the middle of the Range Rover and John's Toyota. I press the unlock button and saw my phone on the passenger seat. I let out a sigh of relief and grabbed the phone immediately. I close the passenger door and slowly turned around to look at the driver's window of the Range Rover.
