The Execution

•••

Grey stood infront of the front door to their pack house, blocking the way. His loyal Beta was standing at his left while his sister was standing at his right. There were also dozens of pack members standing beside his Beta and sister

Pack fighters were surrounding the house, making sure that no rogue gets in

Grey looked at the twenty rogues that were standing infront of him "What do you want?" Grey said boredly, making the rogue in the middle glare at him "I think you know what I want, King" Grey glared at him for calling him by his last name

This rogue did not know who he was disrespecting

"I wouldn't be asking you if I did, mutt" Grey said with a playful smirk on his face "I didn't know rogues were so stupid" A loud growl erupted from the rogues making Grey's smirk widen

This was what he enjoyed doing the most

Pissing rogues off then ripping their heads off

"I want the book, King" Grey's eyebrows furrowed

Cole looked at his Alpha's face and saw that his Alpha did not know what this rogue was talking about

"We don't know what book you're talking about" Cole said with a hard tone. The rogue in the middle suddenly laughed hysterically and looked at Cole with crazy eyes "Don't play games with me, Beta. Hand over the book then me and my boys will peacefully leave your pretty pack"

"I don't know what book you're talking about, rogue" Grey said, eyes locked at the rogue "You wouldn't want me to kill some of your fellow members, would you Alpha?" He said with a smirk

A cruel smile appeared on Grey's face "You're delusional if you think you can touch anyone in my pack" He crossed his arms "I bet even the pups can kill you with their eyes closed" The rogue balled his fist in anger making Grey smirk in victory

The rogue took several deep breaths trying to calm himself down. It took him a moment to calm himself but when he did, a smile formed on his face

"Okay"

This made Grey and everyone confused but Grey didn't show it. His face remained expresionless and straight

"I want the girl"

Grey's calm and composed self was knocked down like a domino. He looked at the rogue with gray eyes that turned into pitch black. The rogue's smile widened "What's the matter, Alpha? It's just a human girl" The rogue said, walking closer to him making Cole and the rest get into a fighting position

"The human girl is in my territory which means she's under my watch" Grey said, trying to control his anger. He looked at the rogue, walking near him like a predator

"She's in my territory which means she's mine, rogue"

Something inside Grey felt....warm when he told the rogue that the human girl inside his pack house was his

It felt right

but wrong

The rogue looked at Grey with a smirk. They stood there for a long time just staring at each other

No one blinked

No one looked away

Everyone watched them stand infront of each other, giving deadly glares

The rogue was the first one to break eye contact. He slowly backed away while looking into Grey's eyes "I guess I'll visit another time then? It was a pleasure meeting you, Alpha" The rogue said with a smile "There won't be another time, rogue" Grey said watching the rogues back away and enter the forest

"Oh I'm sure there will"
