I stared at the window and saw plenty of beautiful women outside the house walking to one direction. I watched them with curiosity and confusion

Where are they going?

I turned around when I heard the door open. Lily came in with a smile "You done eating dinner?" I looked at the untouched tray that they brought up for me that was on my bed "I'm not hungry" Lily sighed and sat on my bed "You need to eat, Alex" I ignored her and continued to watch all the girls walk to the woods "Where are they going?" Lily stood up and walked towards the window to stand beside me, we both looked down at the girls "To the safe house, it's a few feet away from the pack house" I looked at her "Why? Is everything okay?" I felt panic rising inside my stomach but disappeared when Lily flashed a reassuring smile at me "Calm down, they're fine" I nod "Why are they going there then?" Lily bit her lip and looked away from me, watching the all girls disappear into the woods "There's going to be a full moon later"

Her answer only confused me even more, probably sensing my confusion, she sighs and looks at me

"They are unmated she wolves, which means they haven't found their mate yet or they have but they haven't fully mated yet because the female werewolf is not yet ready"

"Are they allergic to full moon or something?" I asked confused. Lily chuckled "No, werewolves love the moon, full or half, it's the heart of werewolves" She said admiringly "But you see, there's this thing called heat that unmated she wolves experience every full moon" I looked at her, interested in what she was telling me about her kind "What does it feel like?" She looks at me with an unreadable expression on her face

"Painful"

"It's like your whole body is on fire and everything just hurts you know? When others touch you it only gets worse. Only your mate can stop the pain, the mate's touch can be very powerful especially for a she wolf that's on heat" I nod understanding what she was saying "But why do they need to leave the pack house?" She looked like she was contemplating on telling me the real reason

"Grey's going to kill me" I heard her whisper to herself before sighing loudly and staring at me

"She wolves that are on heat can be quite.......distracting for male wolves" I looked at her confused, again "Why?" She uncomfortably scratches her elbow "Unmated male wolves can smell she wolves that are on heat which can drive them crazy and aroused" I nod, finally understanding the whole heat thing "Grey does this every full moon to avoid unwanted actions and to avoid anyone from getting hurt" I looked at her quickly, suddenly remember something "But you're....."

"Unmated?" She smiles and nods "I know, I'm going to the safe house in a bit, I just wanted to check up on you" My heart warmed and I immediately hugged her "Thank you, Lily...." I felt her stiffen and hug me back after a few seconds "Well, I should probably go now, the full moon's about to start in a few hours" I looked at her with a worried expression on my face "Are you going to be okay?" She nods and gives me a reassuring smile

"I've got this"

...

Fire

I looked around and saw nothing but fire. I felt the heat all over my body making me sweat intensely. I looked around trying to find a way out but saw nothing. I looked at the fire that was crawling it's way to me making me panic even more

Where's everyone else?

Where's Lily? Where's Cole?
