"Okay, we'll meet you guys there. Oh and Luke, can you bring some coke?" I asked him and he nodded before turning around and walking away with Kevin.

"So things are good with yall? He doesn't stare anymore?" Angel asked me, glancing over at Luke as he and Kevin got in his car.

"Yeah, things aren't at all awkward, thank God. I mean, I caught him staring earlier but only for like a second." I sighed relieved that he wasn't mad about me calling him a creep. I knew we were making a bigger deal of this than we should, but the feeling of being watched really makes me uncomfortable. We walked to Ambers car and got in, where she had been waiting for us.

"Finally, you guys take forever." She groaned, starting the car and pulling out of the student parking lot. We drove to Nats house, where we were all going to meet up and hang out since it was finally Friday.

"What took you guys so damn long? I've been home for ages." Nat complained, letting us inside the house. Her house was pretty modern, she had paintings hanging up on the living room and family portraits going up the staircase. Pretty flowers on the coffee table and side tables, along with a tall bamboo plant in the corner of the living room.

"Sweet cheeks over there wanted to stop to gaze lovingly and hopelessly at her crush." Amber said in a mocking tone towards Angel, and she blushed swatting her away.

"Oh, a little birdy told me that Jason Miles was talking to our one and only, Katherine Walker today." Nat smirked at me, and I raised my eyebrows as Amber and Angel started squealing like seagulls.

"Yeah, so? What's the big deal, we barley talked." I shrugged. It wasn't such a big deal, all he did was apologize for what Kyle said. They're acting as if he asked me on a date, which of course if he did I'd say no.

"Are you kidding? Jason goes to all the cool parties! You could score us some invites!" Amber chirped. I looked at her weirdly.

"You already go to all the cool parties."

"Yeah the highschool parties, not the college ones!" She said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch.

"Never mind the parties, what about the fact that Jason Miles hasn't shown interest in any girl since Jayce Mccan." Angel smirked, and Nat gasped in realization.

"That doesn't mean anything, chill guys." I rolled my eyes, getting annoyed. Him apologizing for a comment his rude friend made does not mean he is "interested" in me. They're just making a big deal of nothing. Besides, he's friends with Nathan which is gross.

"Oh my God, you don't want to admit it does because hes Nathans best friend and Nathan would never go for you if he knew Jason had any interest in you." Nat smirked, and I scoffed at her. Amber rolled her eyes. Nat has always liked the idea that Nathan and I would one day be together. It made me seriously reconsider my decision to be her friend. Clearly she's psychotic.

"That is not true, I don't even like that guy, his existence disgusts me. He's like a spec of dirt."

"Not yet" Nat said in a sing-song voice just as the door opened and the boys walked in. Luke threw a mini bag at me that was halfway filled with white powder.

"Uh, what the hell is this?" I asked, raising my eyebrow and looking at Luke.

"You said you wanted coke." He shrugged, sitting down. I screeched, my eyes widening and I threw it across the room, causing him to laugh.

"I'm joking Kat, its salt. Did you think I'd actually give you cocaine?"

"Uh, yes. have you met yourself?" he shrugged, knowing I had a point. "Did you not get me a Soda?" I asked, disappointed.

"I forgot, sorry." I rolled my eyes and got up, walking to Nats kitchen to get a drink. How could he forget a soda, but remember to buy a bag and fill it with salt? My phone bussed and I grabbed it out my pocket to see who it was.

Unknown: Hey, I got your number from a kid in my homeroom. You should come to the party going on at Greg Tillerz house tonight.
Hope to see you there, Jason.

I frowned, trying to think of who Greg Tillerz is and why Jason wanted me to go to the party. I ignored it and put my phone in my pocket, walking back to the living room. "Hey, who's Greg Tillerz?" I asked Amber, and her eyes got big.

"He plays lacrosse and he's super hot. Why?" I shrugged and she nodded, continuing to talk to Nat about whatever it was they were talking about.

"So what are we doing tonight? I'm bored." Kevin whined, looking at Nat.

"You're always bored." Angel rolled her eyes. "Oh, let's go to that party tonight, who's house was it at again? Garys?"

"Greg's, and that's a good idea!" Amber squealed, and then stopped to glance at me. She was about to say something when I cut her off, shaking my head to say I didn't want to go.

"I don't really like to party." I lied. Back in my hometown, I use to be the Queen of parties, people use to say it wasn't a party unless I was there. But when the incident happened, I stopped going to parties.

"Come on please, you can just be the designated driver. Please Kat, for me." Angel pulled a puppy dog face, begging me to go.

"No, seriously guys I can't tonight. I have to get home anyway, my mom's expecting me." I lied, standing up. "But you guys go have fun. And if you need a ride I'll come pick you guys up but don't do anything stupid like try to drive and run into someones fence." I looked at Amber, and she held her hands up in defence.

"It was one time people let it go!" We all laughed. Since I didn't live far from Nat, I decided to just walk home. Luke offered to drive me but I declined. It had been raining pretty hard earlier, so the ground was super wet but I didn't mind. While I was walking home, a car beeped their horn. Right when I turned around, a huge splash of water got on me, soaking me from head to toe. Nathan stopped, and looked out the window, laughing at me before speeding off. I stood with my mouth open, shocked.

"What the fuck" I spat, glaring at the back of his car. I stomped the rest of the way home, storming into my mom's apartment.

"Oh honey, what happened to you?" My mom asked looking up at me from her paperwork.

"The fucking devil." I snarled, walking to the pantry. "Have you took your medicine?" I asked her.

"Yes dear, I promise. Katie called to remind me." Katie is my aunt on my mom's side of the family. She helped us when the incident happened.

"Alright, well I'm going to go so I can shower and study for our test next week. I love you." I smiled, kissing her on the head.

"Oh honey don't forget I'm going out of town tommorow morning. I've got to go to Pittsburg for a client. I shouldn't be gone for more than a week." She told me, giving me a soft smile. I nodded and gave her a hug.

"Remeber to take your medicine mom. I'm going to call Jade to make sure she remembers to make sure you take it everyday. I love you, be careful. I'll miss you." I told her before walking out. As I was walking down the hall, I saw the devil himself walking into the apartment right across from mine. I scoffed and walked over, walking right into the place without knocking.

"You little bitch!" I snapped, pointing my finger at him. He turned around in surprise.

"I knew something smelt like wet dog." He snapped, glaring at me. "What the fuck are you doing here?"

"Kicking your fucking ass!" I yelled, putting my hair up in a bun. "Lets see who's stronger, me or you and your nasty sent."

"What the hell is going on?" A voice snapped, and I looked over to see a woman standing up from the couch.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry." I apologised to her quickly. I'm guessing she's Nathan's mother, as she looks just like him. I didn't even see her sitting there when I walked in. I quickly turned around and walked out, feeling more embarrassed than I ever have.
