I arrived at school late the next day, I hadn't been able to sleep much because I was texting Joseph all night. We talked about everything and anything. From his favorite food to how old he was when he lost his first tooth. He really wasn't anything like people described him to be, he was so much cooler than half the people at this school. It seriously made me want to shout at everyone that he's not a bad guy, not a guy that would kill his own mother.

"Hey." I said as I walked up to Amber, who was standing next to my locker waiting on me.

"Is it true you joined the auction?" She asked excitedly. Amber had been trying to get me to join the auction for weeks, but I kept telling her no. I nodded, looking around for Joseph.

"Oh my gosh! We need to go shopping for your dress." She squealed

"Actually I already got my dress yesterday.." I trailed off, biting my lip.

"What? With who?"

"With Joseph." I said, just as he walked up beside me. "Hey." I smiled brightly, hugging him. He chuckled and hugged me back.

"You seem happy today." He said, pulling away. Amber stood there staring at us in shock.

"Okay did I miss something or?" She frowned, looking at us both.

"Oh, this is Joseph he's going to be eating lunch with us today." I smiled.

"I don't think that's a good idea.. no offense but Angel doesn't really like him." She said, and he raised his eyebrow at her. "I mean I really couldn't care less about what the shit people at this shit school say about you, but Angel does." She shrugged, rolling her eyes.

"Well she'll just have to get over it." I said firmly before walking away. I saw Jason at his locker and walked over to him.

"What are you doing taking to Joseph?" He asked the second I got to him.

"Oh my god not you to." I rolled my eyes. He slung his bag over his shoulder and put an arm around me, walking with me to class.

"I don't care if you talk to him, I was just asking. Me and the boys don't really go off what other people say about people. Well, minus Kyle."

"Thank God because Angel is totally freaking out that I'm friends with him and it's getting pretty annoying." I complained, and he laughed.

"Tell her to fuck off, she'll be fine." I rolled my eyes at him and he laughed "I'm kidding. But don't worry, she's just trying to look out for you, that's all."

"Since when do you defend her?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him. "Oh my gosh do you like her?" I squealed loudly, causing people to look at us. He put his hand over my mouth, shushing me.

"Shut up." He hissed, looking at the people staring at us. "I don't like her, I just think she has a right to be worried. Besides, I have my eye on someone else." I nodded my eyes smirking causing him to roll his eyes and walk into class, me following behind him.

"Don't worry, I won't tell." I winked, and he chuckled. We sat down in the back where we always do, and I laid my head on his shoulder like I usually do, closing my eyes. The sound of a camera flashing scared me, and I jumped up quickly. There was a girl standing in front of us, grinning.

"You guys are definitely the cutest couple in school!" She beamed, before running to her desk. I looked at Jason and we both laughed.

"Why do people think we're a couple?" I groaned just as Nathan came and sat infront of us.

"Because you guys act like one, it's gross." He said, rolling his eyes in disgust. I laughed and shook my head, getting my notebook out to take notes.
