THIRTY-TWO

My father once told me that when I'm mad I should never do anything that has long term effects because we almost always regret it. But as I stood in the hall watching Angel talk to her new friends, I couldn't feel anything but rage and betrayal, and the only thing on my mind was revenge. The fact that she'd been talking trash about Nathan was what pissed me off the most. Nobody talks about what's mine.

"I hate her." I muttered, glaring her way. Amber nodded, agreeing with me. We were the only ones in the hall- other than Angel and her 2 slut friends. Angel looked over at us and smirked, before whispering something to one of the girls and they laughed. "That's it, I'm done." I snapped, storming over to them.

"Kat don't!" Amber called, but I ignored her. I walked over and grabbed Angels shoulder, pushing her into the lockers.

"What the fuck?" She shrieked, glaring at me. "Are you fucking psycho?"

"Yeah, I am." I smirked and raised my fist, punching her in the face. She let out a yelp and grabbed her cheek, looking at me in shock.

"You bitch!" She yelled, raising her hand to slap me. I grabbed her wrist and turned her around, slamming her face into the lockers. I leaned closer until my mouth was right next to her ears.

"Say one more thing about my man and I promise I'll fucking end you." I growled, stepping away from her. I turned to her friends and smiled waving at them before walking away.

"What the fuck was that?" Amber whisper-yelled with wide eyes. "I didn't think you had it in you!"

"Bitch had it coming." I grumbled, walking with Amber to the cafeteria. We walked to our table where everyone was waiting for us, except Kevin and Natalie. Natalie had went home to avoid Kevin, but he ended up following her home. She texted me earlier that they talked, and agreed to stay friends for now.

"Hey penguin." Nathan smiled when he saw me. I smiled and sat next to him, cuddling into his side. "What happened to your hand?"

"Angel." I shrugged, grabbing a fry from Jason's tray. He frowned and looked at Amber sadly.

"Baby she took my fry." he whined, and she rolled her eyes giving him one of hers. He smiled cheekily and kiss her cheek, making her giggle.

"Wait, what happened with Angel?" Nathan asked, and I shrugged looking away.

"She totally kicked her ass for talking about you! It's was amazing, she-" Amber stopped when she saw me, and I sighed rolling my eyes.

"I just punched her. Once." I mumbled, pursing my lips. "Big mouth." I muttered to Amber and she stuck her tongue out at me.

"Good, that bitch deserves it." Jason said, putting his arm around Amber. "I can't stand that whore." I raised my eyebrows at him and laughed. Nathan pulled out a bag of brownies and ate one.

"Can I have one?" I asked, reaching for the back. He snatched it away and shook his head, grinning. I frowned and grabbed his face by the chin, smelling his breath. "Really, at school?" I rolled my eyes and stood up, grabbing my bag and stomping off. Nathan groaned and followed after me, throwing his brownies at Kyle.

"Penguin, penguin wait!" He called after me. I pursed my lips and turned around, crossing my arms. We were in an empty hallway. "Are you seriously mad?"

"You're getting high at school, of course I'm mad!"

"You came to school hung over!" He snapped, throwing his hands up. "Fuck."

"Coming to school hung over and getting high at school are two completely different fucking things you imbecile!" I spat, glaring at him. He laughed humorlessly and ran a hand down to face, turning away from me. "What, cat got your tongue?"
