3:00am in the damn morning. I was woken up at 3am by Nat, telling me that I have to go pick them up. I groaned and got up, knowing it was my fault for offering to go get them. I slipped on some shoes and grabbed my keys, walking out the front door of my loft. I quietly walked down the hall, trying not to wake anyone else up. When I got out the elevator, I noticed someone walking into the lobby helping a guy who looked as shitfaced as I could imagine my friends will look. Getting closer, I noticed that it was Nathan and Kyle. It surprised me that Nathan actually went all the way to the party to help Kyle, but it surprised me even more that Nathan didn't go to the party. Upon catching me staring, he rolled his eyes and flicked me off, walking to the elevator with an almost-asleep Kyle hanging on his arm. I walked out the lobby and to my car, getting in and putting in the address the girls gave me.
"Kat! You made it, let's partyy" Angel slurred, trying to walk to me but failing miserably. I laughed and caught her before she fell, helping her stand. She looked like a mess, I could tell she had a lot to drink.
"How much have you had to drink?" I raised my eyebrows, giving her a look. She held up 2 fingers, and gave me a lopsided grin. I shook my head and walked her out to my car, putting her in the backseat before going to look for the other girls. Being at this party brought up a lot of memories, things I didn't want to remember. It made me completely uncomfortable, but it also made me want to grab a cup and drink until I couldn't feel my face. I really needed to get out of here as soon as possible. I looked around for any sight of my friends before finally spotting Nat making out with a completely sober Kevin in the corner, and walked over to her.
"Hey, Nat get up." I said, poking her arm. She looked up at me and smiled.
"You're finally here, I can't find Amber and Angel went to go pee...I think" she said, frowning as she looked around. "I would have drove but I had like 3 beers and Kevin didn't want me to." She explained, getting up off of Kevin's lap.
"Hey, you came." A voice said, touching my shoulder. I flinched back, turning around to see Jason smiling at me, "I was beginning to think you weren't coming..nice outfit?" He frowned as he looked down at my joggers and baggy tank top. I laughed and shrugged his hand off my shoulder, stepping closer to Nat.
"I only came to pick up my friends." I said, glancing at Nat who was staring at me curiously. "By the way, have you seen Amber?" I asked him, looking around at all the people dancing, if you can call that dancing, and making out in the room.
"I think she just went upstairs with Hank, if you hurry you can catch her before she catches an STD" he joked, laughing loudly. I thanked him before rushing upstairs, looking in every room until I found her, half naked with a completely naked Hank on top of her.
"Hey, get out of here" He quickly covered up his 'manhood' and glared my way. I raised my eyebrows at him, he had nothing to hide anyway.
"Kat! Are you here to join?" Amber winked at me, giggling.
"God I'm going to make so much fun of you after this." I laughed to myself before walking over and helping her put her shirt back on. "Come on, we have to go home it's late and you're about to get about 5 years closer to dying." I told her, glancing at Hank. He scoffed and grabbed his clothes, walking into the bathroom. She whined the whole way to the car, complaining that she didn't want to go home. I remembered the times that my friends would drag me out of parties, and I shuddered at the memory.
"I swear if any of them puke in my car, you're paying for me to get it detailed." I gave Nat a look and she held her hands up in defence. I got in the car and started to drive back to my place. The girls were just going to crash at my house since I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to go home drunk.
