"What the hell are you saying?!" I exclaimed at Lex. The both of us were just mad. "You need to break up with Jane!" Lex repeated. The words which he was saying ehoed into my head. I would never leave Jane. EVER. "Are you joking?" I answered. Lex wasn't joking but neither was I. "The accreditors saw the both of you guys and questioned me!" Lex backfired. I couldn't help myself but to throw my glasses. The sound of it as it cracked resembled the sound of my heart. "And you think me breaking up with Jane will do any good?" I opposed. Lex kicked the table and looked at me straight in the eye. Lex walked towards me.
"Then what do you think will fix this?" Lex asked seriously. I exhaled deeply and froze for a moment. I knew what to do. I knew what was right to do. "I quit. I'm resigning then. I'll just give my resignation tomorrow." I answered and walked right out of the door. But I heard James call me and said he was sorry. But the truth is, I just couldn't talk to him not like this.
