Jane and I agreed to meet behind the school. "Jane." I whispered and held her tight. As Jane looked into my eyes I knew she could sense that there was somthing wrong and there was. "What's wrong?" Jane asked. "I quit teaching." I directly answered. Jane's eyes widened. "What--- Why?" Jane cracked. Jane raised her eye brows and her eyes wouldn't move out from my eyes. "It's no big deal. Lex and I just hade a misunderstanding, that's all." I shrugged. Jane wasn't convinced.
I was worried...
"Is this because of me?" Jane asked seriously. How could I answer? How? But I need to tell her the truth. "No, it's not because of you. Remember when the accreditor saw us? Lex told me to break up with you so ofcourse I opposed. I don't want to lose you so I told Lex that and made a decision." I answered. Tears swelled in Jane's eyes, I wanted her not to worry, to not be concerned. I pulled Jane near to me. "No, James. It's because of me." Jane pulled back. "Jane, please." I answered pulling her back. What's going to happen now? All I want is to never lose Jane.
