John's P.O.V

I wake up earlier than Alexander and earlier than my intended alarm, which means I have to do something in order to stay awake. I decide to go to the school gym we have, as I haven't worked out in a long time. I grab my gym bag, change into gym clothes and I head down to the gym. I'm the only one here, and I realize that it's 7 in the morning. I put my bag next to me on the treadmill as I start a slow jog. I put my earbuds in, listening to some music while my legs move at the pace of the treadmill. I increase the speed, going to 6, going a little faster. My breathing increases and I keep running...and running...and running.

People start to come and I get off the treadmill. I look at the time and I realize it's 9, meaning I ran for a whole two hours.

"Shit." I run back to my dorm and Alex is still asleep, which must mean he has a later class. I closed the door gently, making sure I don't wake up my sleeping beauty. I set down the gym bag next to my desk and I sit on the bed for a second, still breathing a little heavy. I hear Alexander shuffle in his sleep and I try to stay a little quiet.

"Thanks for leaving me to figure out you went to the gym." Alexander grumbles. I laugh as he turns around, smiling at me.

"Sorry, darling. I just wanted to go as fast as I can. Should have told you or something." He shakes his head, sitting up. He ruffles his hair and I smile as he looks hotter somehow.

"It's fine. Can you go shower though? You smell absolutely terrible." I laugh, moving closer to him.

"You don't like my gym smell?" I say, kissing his neck. He groans, pushing me off slightly.

"Nope, I do not. You're lucky you're pretty cute though, but go shower."

"You wanna join me?" I say, teasingly. He blushes intensely and I laugh.

"Fuck Laurens, I kind of want to." I smile, kissing his cheek and trailing right back to his neck.

"We don't have to do anything. You could scrub my back." I say, mumbling against his neck. He throws his head back as I keep kissing and sucking his neck.

"Maybe...not...ugh...now." He says between moans. I pull away from his neck, grabbing my towel.

"Alright, if that's your wish." I make my way to the bathroom and I strip down, stepping into the shower. After a while, I hear the door open and close.

"John?" Alexander says.

"Yes, Alex?"

"Christmas break is almost coming up." He says. I forgot that I said I was gonna take him to Boston and introduce him to my family, but it was still in the back of my head.

"I know baby." I say.

"We should start looking at hotels and other things. Right? Is that how vacation works?" I laugh, opening the shower curtain a little bit so my head is popping out.

"Baby relax, I'll deal with anything. You don't have to worry." I see his hands start to fidget and I raise my eyebrow.

"I just...I just want to help out with something. Be busy with something." I smile at his motivation to do something.

"You could pick out the hotel?" He nods his head and I give him a thumbs up before closing the curtain.

This is gonna be fun.

I hover over Alex's shoulder as he scrolls down the options for the hotels we could stay at.

"Hmmm, this one looks pretty nice." He says. I look at the time and I realize I only have 20 minutes until my next class.

"As much as I would like to stay and watch you bicker with yourself on picking a hotel, I have to get to class." I kiss the top of his head. Before I can actually walk away, he grabs my shirt, bringing me down to meet his lips. We share a kiss before he pushes me away softly.

"I love you." He says.

"I love you back."

I come back and I hear Alex typing away on his laptop. He notices me walk in and he puts up a finger to notify me to wait a minute.

"I'm...almost...done." He says. I go to sit next to him but he holds the laptop close to him. "No. You can't see it yet." I roll my eyes, but I respect his wishes.

"Okay fine. I'll wait until you're done." He goes back to working on whatever he's working on. After a while, he taps my shoulder.

"Okay, I'm ready."

"What did you do?"

"I made a slideshow of some of the hotels in Boston! To see which one we should choose based on like if they have free breakfast, wifi, parking-"

"You didn't." A small smile spreads across his face.

"I did."

After about 2 hours, I'm getting tired.

"Alex, baby. I'm tired. Let's just pick a hotel." Alex sighs.

"But...I worked so hard."

"I know you did, but I feel like you did it for the hell of it." He hangs his head low, nodding his head.

"Yeah, I did." I laugh. I stand up, wrapping my arms around his waist, pulling him closer.

"I appreciate it, but I bet that any hotel we pick, it'll be fine."

"Yeah...you're right." I sigh. I grab the laptop and I click through the remainder of the slides. I scan through the bullet points and then after I've seen them all, I go to the one I liked the most.

"This one. Is this fine?" His lips form into a smile as he nods his head.

"I was hoping you were gonna pick that one."
