John's P.O.V

Alexander shakes me awake because literally, no one else shakes me awake, so whenever I feel it, I know it's him.

"Yes, darling?" I say, without opening my eyes.

"You still need to take me ice skating."

"And you are just thinking about this now because?"

"I had a dream that I was flying and I was trying to think of what was similar with flying and then since you know, it's still winter." I roll over and I realize he's on top of me, his legs spread on both sides of me. He has a huge smile on his face and I just blink a couple of times.

"What does flying have to do with ice skating?"

"Winter!" I blink multiple times again and I just laugh.

"Okay. Can I like, have a chance to gather my thoughts first? You like to pull this stuff on me out of nowhere." Alexander smiles.

"Sure." He stays silent for a while, looking around in the room. "Did you have your chance to gather your thoughts?" I laugh, sitting up. I grab his face and place a kiss on his lips.

"You're crazy." I say, getting out of bed. I walk into the bathroom and Alex comes in after me.

"I know I'm crazy. We just have to go ice skating before it's not winter."

"There are indoor rinks." I say, before applying the toothpaste to my brush and brushing my teeth.

"There's no fun in that! The whole experience has to be experienced outside. If I wanted to skate indoors, I would join a hockey team." I laugh as I brush my teeth, spitting some toothpaste.

"No, but seriously. That's like saying let's go to a pool instead of a beach. Like no. It doesn't work like that." I look at him and I just keep brushing my teeth.

"Fine. Don't take me. I'll go with someone else." I spit out my toothpaste.

"Shut up. I'm taking you." He smiles widely.

"Good."

"Alexander, don't go ahead." I say.

"I know where it is." He exclaims, turning around and smiling. "Plus I'm excited! Can you blame me?"

"We're literally like 2 minutes away. I want to hold your hand." He laughs, but he stops walking. I intertwine his fingers with mine.

"Better?" I nod my head and we walk slowly to the ice skating rink. Once there, Alexander almost flies off his shoes into the sky when we're next in line to get our skates.

"You don't know how to ice skate. What if you completely fail and fall and it's not fun for you anymore." I say. He laughs.

"That's cute. You think I'm gonna give up so easily." He pinches my cheek and kisses me. We move up in the line and I pay for our skates. They hand us the right shoes and wishes us some great fun.

Alexander and I find some benches to sit on. We remove our shoes and place our skates on. I get up after some tries, but Alexander stands up flawlessly.

"Are you sure you haven't done this?" I say. He shrugs his shoulders.

"I've been looking at videos." I roll my eyes as he grabs my hand and we waddle to the rink. Alexander steps on it first, holding on to the barrier. I go on after him, doing the same thing.

A little kid whizzes past us and I'm shocked.

"That kid is like five. That's not fair." Alexander laughs.

"We'll be at his level." He grabs my hand and we try to ice skate. Within minutes, I'm already on my ass.

"Nope." I say. Alexander helps me get up.

"C'mon, try again."

After about an hour and a half of skating, we decide that we're done.

"That was so much fun!" Alexander says. I rub my arm, which I fell on a couple of times.

"It was, I'll admit. I probably have a ton of bruises." I say, laughing.

"I'll look for them and kiss them to make them feel better." I feel myself getting red a little bit and Alexander laughs.

"You still blush around me? That's pretty gay."

"Oh shut up." He smiles and I just smile too. He wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"Let's go back to the dorms."

"Truth or dare?" I say, lying in bed, wrapped in Alex's arms.

"What?" He says, laughing.

"Truth or dare?" I repeat.

"Why are you asking me this?"

"Just pick one."

"Truth."

"Do you love me?" I ask. Alex laughs.

"Of course. Truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"Kiss me." He says. I laugh.

"Too much work." I say, groaning. He lifts my head up towards his and places a kiss on my lips.

"Guess not." He mumbles.
