Laying on your bed holding akaashi's hand

Akaashi tried to find a certain topic.

"It's almost Christmas"
He said,smiling.

[A/n:okay it ain't Christmas but— please understand.]

"Yeah..." You said smiling back.

"Do you have a wish?" He asked.

"Well,just a plain old wish:to be happy" you said.eyes filled with sadness

"Aren't you happy now?" He asked.

"I am..but There is something that is way more happier." You said."what about you?any wish?"you said,trying to avoid the topic.

"Well,just a quite Christmas. But a happy one.......and a miracle that would let you live"
He said.

"Now you've said it." You said.

"I'm sorry."he said,with a very sincere look.

" it's okay..I'm wishing for it too..although it's pretty much impossible. "You said.

" it's not impossible...we'll, get through this.We promised,right?"

Flashback

It was the time when you found out about your disease and also...the time...of you and akaashi's anniversary.

"Akaashi...what do I do?" You said crying,panicking.

Akaashi was sad too.But he stayed calm because if who wouldn't.. Who will make you calm?he can't afford to break now.You need him.And he knows.that's why he just walked to your direction.

And he simply..

Hugged you.

"It's gonna be okay."
"I'm here." He whispers

And you knew...from the sound of his voice..you knew he was about to break.you knew he was suffering as well.you knew he will cry his heart out when he's alone.You knew.and you realized you're so selfish for asking him what to do when he doesn't know what to do as well.

"Thank you...I'll be here for you as well...I promise I'll kick this myxoma's ass" you said with a proud face.

"Myxoma doesn't have an ass" akaashi said,chuckling.

"Back me up sometimes!I'm not bokuto!" You said.

"Yeah yeah." He said,chuckling.

"Quit laughing!anyway,it's a promise!" You said.

"It's a promise.better keep it." He said.

"We did promise..." You said."the surgery is soon."you added.

"Why did you decided to take it before our anniversary?" He asked.

"So,I won't be a burden when we go out.and It won't go wrong."you said.

" either way you won't and it won't. "He said.

" is that so?"you said,chuckling.

"Yes.that's why you better kick that myxoma's ass" he said,with a mocking tone.

"You sounded like you're insulting me for saying something about kicking it's ass." You said.

"N-not at all" he said between laughs.

"Hmph!" You said.

"Ah!I'm sorry!" He said.

~day of the surgery~

"I'll be back." You said,smiling.Getting ready for the surgery.

"I'll wait.you better keep your promise." He said.

"I will."

And you went off.

You entered the room.While laying on your bed.

'I'll do it,akaashi'

4hours later

"Akaashi-san?"

"Akaashi keiji-san?"

"Ah..how did it turned out?" Akaashi said nervously, standing up.

The doctor looked down for a second.

And then looked up,with a smile on his face.

"You can see her,now." The doctor said as akaashi ran to see you.

And he saw you...your beautiful (h/c) hair flowing,with your eyes filled with happiness. And lips smiling.

Akaashi ran to you and hugged you,he was crying but it's different cry when you guys found out about your disease.

Now he was crying because of happiness, relief and gratefulness.

For a minute you guys stayed like that.as he carefully looked at you,As he smiled.

And he said...

"Welcome back."

"I'm back" you said,smiling.

"Good job at kicking myxoma's ass." He said,patting your head.

"It was a piece of cake." You said proudly.

"Yeah,right." He said,laughing.

"There you go again laughing at me" you said,with a angry time but you're still smiling.

"Sorry,sorry" he said,laughing.

"Then.... Shall we go home?" He said,offering his hands.

And you sighed.And looked at him,as you smiled.

"Of course I won't let that offer go." You said.
"I'm pretty much excited for our anniversary." You added.

"Me too." He said.as there was a silence.

"Yeah?" You asked.

"I love you." He said,your nose touching
