Oikawa x reader:string of fate(angst)

It was because of this string,that you met,it was because of this that you are connected, that you have a connection.

But whether this string was a blessing or a curse,is uncertain.

The first time you run into him,you felt it,as the same way he did.The string,the red string that connected you two became visible for a second,and you knew it
He knew it,too.

That you guys are bounded by fate,by this string.

Because of this,oikawa started courting you,bugging you,and such.

"(Y/n)-chan be my girlfriend?" He asked,smiling.

"If you will ask me to be your girlfriend, at least learn to smile." You said.

"Eh?but I'm smiling~!" He said,sweetly.

"You don't call a fake smile,a 'smile'." You said.smirking.

There oikawa became serious. he courted you,greeted you and complimented you,everyday.

You soon became used to him,and you...loved him.

"(Y/n),I'm serious.I love you,please go out with me." He said,not using the 'chan' which means he really is,serious.

"Yeah,me too." You said

"What?" He asked tilting your head.

"I said,I like you too.trash." you said.

And he hugged you.

Yes,it was a blessing.

But was it really?

Days and months have passed.

And everything changed.

Normally,
During club he would text you,'how are you?I'm practicing too!let's do our best.I love you.I'll walk you home after this.'

But when you opened your locker to change clothes no text,no calls.Nothing.

During the time when school is ending he would insist that you skip with him so that you two can be together,and hold your hand so you won't go.

But...

"Tooru,I'll skip club today you wan—"

You were cutted off.

"I have club.so bye." He said,as he let go of your hand.

'In the end you're one to let go,huh.'

That continues every day.
The next day you called oikawa on the park,you were on the swing.

Oikawa just stared at you.

"Oikawa,If you're  that tired let go of me completely,already." You said,smiling.

"What?" He asked.

"Let's break up.I know you're tired." You said,standing up.

"What are you saying?even if we are to break up,we're bounded by this fa—"

"Then I'll cut it." You said.

"What?" He asked,not getting what you said.

"I'll cut this stupid red string of fate myself." You said.Tears forming in your eyes.

"(Y/n) I-I'm sorry" he said,grabbing your hand.

But you removed it gently.As you smiled."It's over."

You said,smiling,tears falling.

As you and oikawa saw a split-second of the string,as it was cutted,nothing connected you,anymore.

"Do you know what fate is?Fate is a thing that you're bound with.But if you cut that fate.You'll never be bound with it,again.This is the best for us.For you who is tired of me.And Me who is tired of crying over you." you poked his chest,gently.As you smiled,looking up at him.As you saw his bitter expression,he was also crying.

"Goodbye." You said.

'I really loved you.' You both thought. as you walked away.

'maybe if we meet again,that means I didn't cut the strings or maybe I fixed it.'

'But I really hope,that even without it.We can be together.'

'I said goodbye but..I really wanted to stay.'

'I hope that you can just stay.'

'But seems like you're already tired.'

'Seems like you're already hurt.'

'It seems like we're not really supposed to be together.'

"I love you." Oikawa said,loudly before you really disappeared.

He ran to you,he hugged you.

"I don't care if you cutted it already,We can be together without it.And I'll win you over."

"I'll make you mine."

"And I'll be with you forever without that.I'll chase for you."

He hugged you tighter.

'I won't ever let you go.'
