Piero's POV:

Dinner went by quickly and now we seated outside in the fresh air. Everyone was seated on a beach chair both Francis and I took out from the garage, and a nice good cup of wine in our hands.

We made a small bonfire in the middle of the backyard and enjoyed the stories we kept telling. At the moment, I sat across from our guests and beside me, Francis was hysterically laughing at what Maxim had said.

I didn't quite hear what he exactly said so what I did was just smile and drank up from my cup. "Can you please stop being a creep?" Francis's voice brought me back to Earth.

"What?" I asked and turned to see him.

"Stop staring at Luna like that. It's creepy. At least try and be more discreet about it." He laughed and so did I as I let my head head down.

"Yeah I guess." I said after we stopped laughing.

"You just meet her though. How can you even feel attracted to her?" Francis then asked after a short minute of silence.

"I don't know. But since I laid my eyes on her, I have this strange feeling in the pit of my stomach that just wants me to go up to her and just kiss her." I said as I looked over to Luna.

"You guys meet just last night. No one can like anyone in just one day of meeting a person Piero." Francis said.

"I know. It's going to sound strange but, I feel like if I've meet her before and now that she's here, I want her to stay next to me. So I can just protect her... Love her." The last part escaped me before I drank some wine.

"Love her? That's just insane Piero. It seems as if you're desperate to find a girlfriend. And I thought you were still traumatized with what happened with your ex." As soon as Francis said this, my face became straight.

I turned to face him and with a straight face I said, "Don't ever mention that lunatic. She's in the past and I've moved on, unlike her. Luna is different."

"Then Luna will be your summer love huh?" Francis said and took a huge gulp of his wine.

"No, I don't want her to be my summer love. Maybe, if it's meant to be... No. Franz..." I looked at him and asked, "Is it real love?"

"Look Piero. Just follow what your heart says in this situation. Just don't overthink it either, you never know what surprises will pop up." I felt the sincere words that my older brother said. So I smiled at him and nodded.

"You're right. I do have to follow my heart. Thanks brother." I patted him and he only nodded. Suddenly he got up and said to everyone, "I hope everyone has a good night because I am out for today. You guys see you later."

He basically did a peace sign and we all said goodbye to Francis. "He has to go to the university later tomorrow that's why he left early." Mariagrazia told me after everyone got back to their conversation.

"Really? Why didn't he tell me?"

"I guess he just wants you to have a fun night." She shrugged and walked over to pour more punch in her cup.

I sat there still until Maxim called my name, "Piero! Come over here, don't be such a loner!" I laughed as I got up and made my way towards them.

"I'm not a loner okay. Now I'm here, so what do you want?" I answered.

"We just wanted to say thank you." Perla jumped in. I frowned and looked back at Maxim.

"For?" I asked afterwards.

"Having us here in your house just until Maxim's car gets fixed." Luna said.

As soon as I saw her smile, I couldn't help but to smile back at her. "There is no problem. My family is more than happy to have you guys over. Plus, it's Sunday tomorrow and I don't think the mechanic will have the car ready."
