Be Mine... One Way Or Another

Esther's POV:

It's been quite some time since I have seen or heard from Piero... Actually since I last had the little encounter with him and that slut of a girlfriend. My time had been well spent so I wasn't completely upset for not hearing anything about him for a couple of weeks.

I had a plan...

*Piero's house*
Luna's POV:

"So? Do you accept my proposal?" I asked Piero while he prepared some sandwiches to munch on.

"Wait, just for how long?" He asked. I was trying to convince him to let me change his proposal a bit. I told him I wanted to finish off this year in the university and explained I could only stay with him until the first days of October, due to school.

I had arranged, with my teachers, how I was going to stay up to date with the classes and the assignments. Gladly they accepted to help me out via Skype so I'll be studying online, at least until my next tests come up, which are in October.

"You're going to have me by your side enough time." I replied and made a grouchy face. I laughed as I helped him out with the drinks. "October amore maybe, just maybe I'll stay with you until the next year starts. We'll see about that."

"Wait... So you'll try and stay here until January?" Piero asked with an excited tone.

"Maybe." I responded and began to place the plates in the table.

"Alright, alright. I'm already happy with having you here with me." Piero said and ran to hug me from behind. I smiled and enjoyed his warmth.

*A month later*

I was quietly studying in Piero's room when I heard something hitting the window. Leaving my books and laptop open, I got up from the bed and walked towards the window.

"Luna! Hi! Come down!" It was Ignazio. I could see his car parked across the street. I frowned and shook my head. 

"Are you crazy? I'm studying." I mouthed over to him, not really wanting to open the window.

"Just come down." He yelled. I pouted a bit and put on a sweater since the weather was getting chilly, and went downstairs. I was at Piero's house with Maria only, his parents went out to get groceries and his brother was staying at a friends house for the weekend. 

"Maria! I'm going outside. Be back in a bit." I told her as I made a quick stop at her room. 

"Bring me something if you're going to the town." She said.

"Alright." I said and closed her room door behind me. I went down the stairs quickly and meet Ignazio. "Piero's not here Ignazio." I said to him.

"Duh! I know." He replied.

"Um, then why are you here? I thought you were in Bologna since it's your vacation period." I asked a bit confused.

"Yes, I know but I came to see you guys, I even dragged Gianluca with me." He said. "Go put on a thicker coat, you two wont be coming back until midnight."

"What is going on?" I asked, trying to figure out what was in his mind.

"Fine. We have to meet Piero and Gian at the piazza. We're going to eat with our dates so Piero told me to come and get you first."

"Dates?"

"Yes. Well I brought my sister because she needed a break from her job, and well Gian brought his new girlfriend."

"GIAN HAS A GIRLFRIEND!?" 

"Yes. But I'll tell you on the way, so hurry up." Ignazio said and it was enough for me to sprint back and out from the house.
