Luna's POV:
Ignazio quickly let go and apologized. "I'm sorry, I... I truly am sorry but you have me worried sick!? Understand me please. You haven't even cried a bit since we found out he died!"
I only grabbed my arm back and made a small massage on it since it hurt. "I know. You must be worried of how I am handling this situation, but to be honest I still don't know how I should react. Maybe all this to me is just a dream or my mind can't seem to process this." I said this as I looked down at my shoes.
"Luna... You need to let this sink in and let those emotions come forward. Don't hold anything back, we all don't want you to get sick." Ignazio said.
"What do you mean when you say sick? I'm fine right now. I've been feeling like normal." I replied.
He sighed and pulled me towards him for a hug. I only stood there, letting him hug me. That's when I realized I missed Piero's hugs. Ignazio's hugs were warm and comfortable, but they didn't have Piero's love and security.
"Come on, let's go home." Ignazio said and I took one last look at Piero's tomb.
The ride back was even more quiet than usual and it actually made me feel uncomfortable. This time Maria was in the car with Igna and I. "So..." I said.
"So what?" Maria asked.
"What's going to happen now?" I asked, really just asking whatever to make a conversation.
"With what or who?" Ignazio asked.
"Well... You know... Your family Maria amd the group. By now the fans must be devastated too and well family wise... Not all the family knows of this yet right?"
"We're probably just going to make calls over the island since they're really busy people." Maria said. "And as in Mamma, dad and Francis... Well we're going to have to keep living normally. Of course it's going to be hard not seeing him around, but we'll slowly heal up."
I nodded and smiled lightly. "And as for the group... I have no idea what's going to happen. Michele is coming tomorrow to know more about this situation but I honestly have no clue what is going to happen to Il Volo without Piero." Ignazio said afterwards.
"What about you Luna? What's going to happen to you?" I breathed in and out slowly, really not knowing what to answer.
"I guess I'll go back to Miami and keep on with school. I don't really have much to do here in Italy now." I said.
"Luna don't say that. You know my family will gladly welcome you in our home. You are basically part of our family now and more than ever. We are greatful you made Piero happy until his last days and that is enough for us." Maria said and grabbed my hand.
I slightly smiled and thanked her. We were now home... Or should I now call it the Barone house... And meet everyone inside. Piero's parents came in last as they had stopped to buy us something to eat.
"We brought some grilled chickens for everyone. Let's not stop eating or doing our daily things because Piero wouldn't want us to be like this. So let's all go wash up and eat." Mrs. Barone said.
Gaetano passed by me with another bag of food and once the smell of the food hit my nostrils, my stomach flipped. I got nauseus and ran up the stairs to Piero's room. I quickly pushed the door of the bathroom opened and closed it behind me somehow and went to the toilet and threw up.
Ignazio's POV:
"Does she not want any chicken?" Mr. Gaetano asked as we all saw how Luna just ran off up the stairs.
