Piero's POV:

'I could have just let Esther take you when I had the chance.'

Those words hurt me like a knife going through my chest. I didn't remember who Luna was, like how she looked or how she walked. But I knew it was her once I saw her walking towards me.

The moment she caressed my cheek, small imagines of us together began to play in my head as if it was a romantic movie.

Then the awful pain I hadn't felt is weeks now came to my head. This time it was different. It felt like my head would just explode any second and... All of those lost memories of meeting Luna began to just flash at me like a lost film.

The day we meet at the party, to the nights we've spent talking about each other as if there was no tomorrow. Those wonderful nights having her in my arms to that one time I had the crazy idea of serenading her on her school that rainy day.

All of those memories came to with pain, unbearable pain. A memory followed with pain, one after the other until my head couldn't take it. I tried to see who was around me and ask for my medicine but it was too late. I couldn't bare the pain no longer and I fainted.

*A few hours later*
Luna's POV:

"You shouldn't be here with Victor Luna. Why don't you go to the hotel and rest a bit? We can stay here and look out for Piero." Ignazio told me as I had Victor asleep in my arms.

We were in the nearest hospital to the venue. Strangely I had the need to know if he was going to be alright after he just collapsed.

"No. I'm not moving from here until a doctor comes and tells us he's alright." I replied and the rest of the family and friends came into the waiting room.

"How's Piero?" Mrs. Eleonora asked right away.

"Oh it sounds strange even saying his name once again specially in a hospital." Francis then said.

"We haven't heard from any doctor yet." Ignazio replied.

"Luna... Are you okay? What are you doing here with Victor?" Maria asked as she came towards where I sat.

"I'm worried." That's all I said.

"You should head to the..."

"Hotel room. No. I'm not leaving until I heard someone say he's fine." I repeated myself and then began rocking Victor in my arms.

"How are you truly feeling? About all this crazy business." She asked me.

"I..." I pressed my lips tight as I was about to say I didn't care but I know I couldn't hide it from anyone. "Confused and mostly betrayed in a way."

"Can I tell you something? Forget the past. Look at this second opportunity that's right in front you. Don't let go Piero just yet, or at least at all." She gave me a small smile and a gentle pat in my back, and left.

"Family of Mr. Barone?" A doctor said from across the waiting room. We all went up to him.

"Yes?"

"How is he?"

"He's not going to die again is he?" Maxim asked and I saw how Perla just elbowed him.

"He fell in shook. We managed to control him and get his body to react and relax with a shock therapy. He's asleep now and has to sleep well tonight. We will have him under close watch for the rest of the night." The doctor said.

"Could we see him?" I asked, everyone then turned and looked at me.

"Yes. Of course. Just one by one please." The doctor said and left.
