Piero's POV:
"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked the girl in front of me.
"Piero, what is wrong with you?!" Luna shouted and pushed me to the side. "She was kind enough to find my phone and return it. The least you can say is a thank you yet... Wait. You know her?"
It hit me right in the stomach, making me feel sick inside for not telling Luna completely everything. "She's..." I stuttered but failed.
"The name is Esther." The gray hooded girl said.
"Nice to meet..."
"No!" I took Luna's hand and slapped it away from Esther. I looked at Luna's face and she frowned unbelievably.
"What's wrong with you!?" She shouted and quickly yanked her hand away as I tried to reach for it to say I was sorry.
Next thing I knew, she had left the shop. I got so pissed and turned to look at Esther. She was crossed armed now and looking at me. "So that's your new slut?"
"Don't you dare call her that. The only slut I see right now is you. And you better stay away from both her and me, unless you want another restraining order." I spat out and quickly left after Luna.
I exit the candy shop and noticed she was already in the other side of the street. I looked both ways and ran across to get to her. Once I did, I took her by the wrist and she yanked it for the second time. "Let go of me!" She said.
"Please let me explain." I said and she stopped walking. I noticed her rolling her eyes and sighed.
"Then tell me who that was since you started acting up like some kind of demented person!" Luna said but I stayed quiet. I couldn't tell her who she was, she could already be in danger, or that's what my gut felt at the moment.
"You know enough of her." I managed to say. Her mouth opened in disbelief and next thing you knew, she turned around and kept walking. I sighed, not really knowing what to say. I didn't want to tell her about my past, specially with Esther.
"Don't follow me. Why don't you go and keep chatting with that girl? I see you guys have so many things to talk about." Luna said in a angry tone.
"Bella mia, please. Look I'm sorry but I won't tell you who she is. Look all I will tell you is that she is a dangerous person, that's why I acted all crazy like that." I told her but she kept walking so I followed.
Luna's POV:
Piero was still following me. What was wrong with him, like why can't he tell me who that girl was? Those questions repeated over and over again, making me mad for not getting a good answer, up until my phone rang. I took out the phone of my purse and noticed it was Maria.
"Ciao?" I asked.
"Luna, do you know where's Piero? Is he with you?" She asked in an anxious tone. I frowned so I turned around and noticed Piero running after me.
"Yeah, he's here with me. Why do you ask?" I questioned.
"I don't know, I just had a bad feeling. Can we just go meet at the piazza please? I know it's not even close to 8 but I really want to go home now." She said. I swore I could imagine her about to cry for some reason.
"Yeah, actually I was about to tell Piero to just go home. We're a few streets away." Once I said the last part, Piero stood next to me, panting with a worried face.
"Okay. Bye Luna. Thanks again." Maria said and I hung up.
"Who was that?" Piero asked. I sighed and looked at him.
