Luna's POV:

The day was grey... just like the weatherman said this morning. I could smell the wet ground already as it was just starting to sprinkle a bit.

I was at the library, the window beside me was slightly opened, with Perla's friend, studying for our exam, while Perla herself was in the computers. For some reason I couldn't even focus so I got up and just went to the small cafeteria near the entrance.

There wasn't much to choose from the selection of drinks so I just grabbed an orange juice, even if it was just 2 pm... or that's what it felt like.

A loud thud got my attention and I went over to the only small window in the room. It was now pouring and I saw all the students run in seek of shelter from the rain.

That's when I noticed that Piero was right outside the library. And he wasn't alone.
"Piero? Is that... Ignazio and Gianluca too?" I frowned hard as I was now on my tip toes.

"What are they doing?" I asked myself but it was impossible for me to look now since the window got covered with tons of raindrops. I ran to my seat, got my umbrella and ran out of the library.

Just as I opened the doors of the library, the rain hit my face. I quickly opened my the umbrella and walked a few steps near the small stairway and got surprised.

Somehow, the three boys managed to play some instruments and sang under this puring rain. At first I thought it was crazy for them to do this so I was going to yell at them but I stopped.

The tone... Even if it was faint... I began to like it.

I stood standing until the song finished. My right hand covered my mouth as I couldn't stop smiling like crazy. "Piero!" I finally reacted after a few seconds and ran towards him.

He let go of the instrument in his hands and carried me in a tight hug. At some point I threw the umbrella and had been wrapped up in his arms.

"You liked it?" He said after he let me down.

"It's a beautiful song, so of course I liked it. No. I loved it." I replied.

"I'm glad." He said and hugged me so tight. I looked up and noticed Gianluca and Ignazio watching.

"Hi boys." I said and laughed. Piero let go and turned to see the boys too. "You guys are going to catch a cold here. Let's go inside." I mentioned and they quickly agreed.

Once inside the library, Perla's friend and Perla herself came to help me keep the boys warm with some sweaters we had in our backpacks. "What were you guys thinking off, singing in the pouring rain?" Perla asked them as we both handed them some coffee.

"I wanted to surprise Luna with a quick little performance by us." Piero replied.

"We never knew it was going to rain on us." Ignazio said.

"Yeah, so we kept on singing and playing." Gian followed.

"Well good thing is that I noticed you guys being the only ones to stand in the rain." I laughed and so did the rest of the girls.

"I don't care if I get sick or not, we finished our work here so now we have a few days off. Plus I got my objective done." Piero said.

"And your objective was to get everyone's attention?" Perla's friend asked.

"I don't mind rest of the world, I'm talking about Luna. You liked the small serenade." Piero smiled at me and I couldn't help but to blush.

"Alright, alright. Just try and stay dry next time." I managed to say. The 3 boys laughed and nodded. "Well, we're just going to finish up the assignments and then we can all hang out. Deal?"
