*Later that night*
Luna's POV:

I had just hung up with Antonella and Sofia. After what I had heard earlier from Carlo,I was now forced to take extreme measures. I had made a secret investigation on him using another team from the station. And all of Piero's suspicions were right, just as mine.

*A few hours ago*

'She's still clueless. The coast will be clear by tonight. If I were you, I would step on the gas and get here quick before anyone suspects.' Carlo had said on his phone call.

He had gone into the furthest room at the end of the hall just to answer the call. I had followed him quietly and was now in the same room as him, just that I was closer to the door to exit fast.

'I said 'if you get here by tonight' that's when we would be able to strike tomorrow night. We still have to review the plan one more time.' Carlo said.

'That bitch will pay.' He then said. Thankful for my intelligence, I had caught everything on my phone recording app. I quickly left the room and decided to make a new plan.

*Present*

"How was work?" Both Ignazio and Piero asked me as I let myself fall in the couch.

"Doesn't seem like good." Ignazio said.

"What's wrong amore? That face doesn't seem like you have good news for us." Piero said.

I sighed and looked straight at him. "You were right. I found out that Carlo is at least behind Esther's escape. But the big question is why? What is there for him to gain out from helping her out?"

"Wait. Are you 100% sure about this?" Piero asked.

"I overheard him on a call. And I could hear a woman's voice on the other line. I have a recording but the sound of his phone is very faint." I said and showed him the recording.

"What are going to do? He knows I'm here and most likely will bring Esther here too." Piero began to panic.

"Calm down my love. My girls and I came up with a plan behind his back. And if what we heard in the recording is true, then you will be very much protected. But in order to do so, we must also form another plan so no one comes out injured." I said.

"I'll go call everyone so we all know what to do and expect." Ignazio said and went to get everyone else.

Piero's POV:

I couldn't sleep. Luna might be asleep by now since she was facing the window. It's been 3 hours now since we all made our own plan and talked about the possibilities of someone getting hurt.

"You can't sleep either huh?" I heard Luna whisper. I turned my head and she tossed in bed to face me. I did the same.

"I never asked for any of this. Is it too much to ask for my happiness with the people I love?" I asked in a whisper tone too.

She gave a small smile and caressed my cheek. "Don't torment yourself with what's going to happen. No one knows what IS going to happen tomorrow, that's why we need to take these precautions. Stop thinking on what might happen, you'll feed your fear more and then nothing will come out as planned."

"I know. But... I want to spend the rest of my life next to you and Victor. I want to grow old with you and see Victor become a great man. My only fear is loosing you or my son. And if I do I would make sure to kill Esther with my own hands." I said.

"Nothing will happen to us. This is necessary so we can definitely catch her and send her to Alcatraz if possible." Luna said and placed a kiss on my nose.
