Luna's POV:
"They're here!" I shouted my lungs out.
"Uh, YES! Aren't you seeing it?" Perla said as she pointed to the date listed in my phone.
"But... how come... how come Piero didn't tell me anything? We talked yesterday morning." I asked, a bit confused.
"Have you not been in your social media lately? It's everywhere girl! Also it's obvious he thought you knew he was coming." Perla told me.
"Well maybe I'm just too busy with school and trying to live on my own." I said, giving her my phone so she can keep looking.
"It has really affected the decision your brother made huh?" Perla asked.
"To be honest, yes. We've always told each other our next move and have always stayed together. It just threw me off!" I said and laid back in the sofa.
Perla sighed and just took the phone off my hands and sat on the center table, facing me. "Luna, maybe he wanted his own space for once. Plus he's a guy, or have you even thought of him dating someone and not being able to come here because of the respect he has for you?" Perla said.
"I did thought of him probably having a girlfriend and him chasing her now. But I don't know, something or someone I should say, has brainwashed him, because he's not like that. And you know when I have a gut feeling it always turns out right." I sighed and crossed my arms.
"I don't know either then. But this time I don't think it's anything serious." Perla finished saying before the door bell rang. We both turned and looked at the door, as if the door was going to open by itself by just looking at it.
I got up and went to open the door. To my surprise, there was a guy with a huge bouquet of flowers. I could barely see his upper body. "Does Luna live here?" The man said.
"Uh, yes that's me." I said.
"Mind of you... sign this?" He tried to hand me a clipboard he held under the bouquet. I took it and signed in the signature line.
"Who is this from?" I asked and helped the man by taking the bouquet and giving him the clipboard.
"There's a note there. Good day my lady." The man only said and left. I frowned at the man's action but shrugged it away.
I quickly closed the door with my foot and placed the flowers on the entrance table. "THOSE FLOWERS ARE BEAUTIFUL!" Perla shouted from the living room.
I turned to see her but she was already next to me. "Is there a note?" She asked but I only laughed.
A small blue envelope was in one of the white rose's petals, so I took it and opened it.
'Go to the bench that's located outside the library. ~P.'
"What?" I said.
"Girl, either you start running out there or I'll make sure to break your feet if you don't start leaving this room." Perla said.
I laughed and quickly took my bag and a wool sweater. I didn't even bothered leaving Perla in my apartment but who cares, I know she'll get comfortable.
I ran to the library as fast as I could. I could hear thunder somewhere but I ignored it. My heart was now racing faster than my feet as I got in the library through the back side.
All I could hear was the steps I took on the wooden floor of the library as I ran across it. I got to the front doors and noticed it was raining hard.
"Who said it was going to rain today?" I told myself as I covered my head with my sweater.
Good thing is that I was wearing some black Converse and Jean shorts so I won't get my pants wet. I decided to run down the stairs in the rain and stopped as I noticed the bench empty.
