Ethan's POV

Nasa bahay na ako ngayon after I finished my works sa office. I worked as a Head Engineer sa Agoncillo Construction Firm, one of the best contruction firms in the Philippines, and yes, I know that this is owned by Maxine's uncle. Although, my family has a lot of business firms here in the country but I still manage to pursue what I prefer to.

Dahil di pa naman ako inaantok, I browsed my social media accounts. While I'm scrolling down, a photo caught my attention, it was Maxine's stolen photo from the airport. Tinitigan ko lang ito for a couple of minutes. Hindi pa rin siya nagbago, well she's even more beautiful than before. Magkikita kaya kami ulit? What if I'll win her back? Can I still have a second chance? O may mahal na syang iba? Nagkibit balikat ako.

It was exactly six years ago when I decided to end our relationship. I was tempted with Hailey's charm not knowing Maxine is already in pain that time. I know I hurt her that's why she decided to leave the country. But soon I realized after she left, I loved her, I'm deeply in love with her. I was too idiot to let her go.

Hailey and I were childhood friends. We're very closed to each other but we were separated when we reached High School kasi dinala siya ng Mommy niya sa ibang bansa. But they came back, it was summer after I graduated high school.

One time, nakiusap si Hailey sa akin to be his fake boyfriend para raw ipagselos si Pau, yung ex-boyfriend niyang niloko siya. I do even have my second thoughts that time because of Maxine but Hailey assured na palabas lang ang lahat and since she's my friend, I agreed to help her.

Naging cold ang treatment ko kay Maxine because of Hailey. Masaya naman siyang kasama until dumating talaga yung time na naconfuse ako sa nararamdaman ko for Maxine and that time, Hailey confessed her feelings to me. But pinagsisisihan ko yun for the past years, Hailey and I remained friends because I explained to her that I really loved Maxine more than her and thanks God she understands me.

Sobra akong nalungkot ako nung araw na I decided to end our relationship. I hate myself seeing Maxine crying infront of me because of my damn decision. Sinayang ko lahat. Nagpakatanga ako. When she left the country, wala na akong balita sa kanya until nalaman ko na lang na she became an International Model. I saw her in various magazines and TV shows abroad. But I'm still happy for her. Kung di kami naghiwalay, di niya makakamit ang pangarap niyang maging isang model.

While I was in my deepest thoughts, my phone kepts on ringing. It was Markus. I grab and accepted his call.

"Hey Bro? What's up?" I asked. Matagal tagal ding hindi kami nagkita.

"Kanina pa ako tawag ng tawag sayo, ano bang ginagawa mo?"

"Nah! Nothing. May iniisip lang" I think about Maxine. Do I need to tell him? Do they know Maxine is already here?

"I see. So bro? See you?"

"Huh?"

"Tomorrow afternoon. The squad wants to have a reunion" Reunion huh?

"Okay, in your resto?"

"Hahaha! Yeah. Make sure you'll go, or else bibigwasan kita"

"Hahaha! Yeah yeah, I'm coming! See you and the squad bye"

I ended up the call and put my phone on the table near my bed. Natulog na rin ako agad.
