Troye, Riley and Ryan were still asleep by the time that Jacob, Joel and Brendon got home. Dallon had quietly gotten up to help them carry their things in before taking Brendon aside to talk to him. He did not want Ryan to wake up until after they had discussed the topic of Ryan being sold. Dallon just wanted Brendon to know that Ryan was aware of the sale ad, and that he was super sensitive and hurt. The only reason he was not super sad was the cookies that Troye had distracted him with.

"Did you have a good time?" Dallon asked, following Brendon into their bedroom and shutting the door. Brendon nodded, a small smile on his face.

"Yeah. Joel was adorable, he was so fascinated by everything."

"I'm sure he would be." Dallon sat on the bed and looked up at Brendon, who stayed standing. "So... Ryan found the ad."

"Shit."

"Yeah..."

Brendon sighed. "So how did he react?"

"How do you think? He loves you, Bren. He is heartbroken."

"I just... fuck." Brendon looked annoyed as he left the room despite Brendon telling him not to, returning a moment later with Ryan in tow. The neko already had tears in his eyes as he tried to get his thin arm out  of Brendon's grip, his ears turned back. "So how did you find out?" Brendon asked, his gaze seeming to burn into Ryan.

"I-I was gonna watch a movie with Troye a-and it was open on your lapt-top," Ryan answered.

"Did I tell you that you could use my laptop?"

"No, b-but Dallon did."

"In case if you forgot, I give you orders."

"You said to l-listen to Dallon."

Brendon brought his hand to his face and rubbed his eyes, clearly frustrated.

"I'm sorry," Ryan said quietly, tears pouring down his face. He lowered himself down so that he would be short and feel more respectful. "I did not mean to make you upset, sir."

"It's not his fault," Dallon spoke up. "He is the one that is being sold. He is the one who was thrown into this unknowingly. He is the one who does not know what kind of person he is going to end up with."

"What am I supposed to do?" Brendon snapped back, causing Ryan to jump. "We can't just keep him here!"

"And why not? He's not doing anything."

"Yes, he is. We would not be fighting right now if it was not for him," Brendon said matter-of-factually.

"I'm sorry," Ryan whispered. He stared at the floor, his ears out to the sides. "I'm sorry that I get in the way. I'm sorry that I make you fight."

"Ryan..." Dallon started to speak, but Ryan was already crawling out of the room. Once he had left and closed the door he got to his feet and started to walk to the living room, stopping when he saw Troye sitting in Jacob's lap, giggling happily and playing with Joel. Riley was laughing too, holding up a toy to show Jacob. They were such a happy family, and that was all Ryan wanted. He just wanted to be able to love who he wanted to and he wanted to get married and have kids and live happily ever after.

Ryan decided at that moment that he hated Troye. It just wasn't fair.

"Daddy it's our last day!" Joel said, jumping on Troye and crawling over him to Jacob. He giggled and laid down over the two of them, his ears perked forward. "I'm gonna miss everyone but we get to go home!"

Troye smiled and ran his hand through Joel's hair. "And you get to get to get your cast off when we get home as well," he said. He rolled over and kissed Jacob's cheek, nuzzling his nose against his neck.

"I didn't think that you would be so excited to go," Jacob said. He wrapped his arm around Troye and pulled him closer.

"I'm not," the Neko said. "I'm gonna miss everyone."

"Me too," Joel threw in. "I love Ryan."

Troye nodded. "Me too."

"I know you do." Jacob sat up and kissed Troye gently, looking over to Riley who was tiredly peering up at him from his blanket. The kitten meowed quietly before reaching out towards his dads, wanting to be picked up.

Troye crawled over and picked him up, kissing his head before standing up and taking Joel's hand. "Let's go get some breakfast, then we can go see Ryan."

The three nekos went out to the kitchen and found Dallon, smiling at him and saying good morning. Dallon returned their greeting tiredly, taking a drink of his coffee and turning back to his phone. Troye frowned at how unhappy Dallon seemed to be, but he did not say anything. Him and his little family had been in Dallon's house all week, he would understand if he was tired and excited to get rid of them.

"Do you have anything planned out for your last day?" Dallon asked as Troye put two slices of bread into the toaster and pushing them down.

Troye shook his head no, getting out the jam. "We just wanted to spend time with you guys, pack and get a few pictures of the kittens in the snow."

"Sounds nice," Dallon said. "If you need any help let me know."

Troye nodded with a smile, watching as Joel fought his way into Dallon's lap, which resulted in Riley asking to be picked up too. Dallon chuckled and sat his phone down so that he could hold onto both of the boys.

"I have enjoyed having you here," he said. "I hope you can come back sometime."
