Troye stared at the door blankly, ignoring Jacob as the man walked around packing up the things that were laying about that belonged to Troye or the boys. "You must be excited to go home," Dr. Iero said, offering a small smile. The neko did not react, not even blinking as Dr. Iero removed his IV. "Well, that's it. You're free to go."

Troye still did not say anything.

The doctor just frowned and turned to Jacob. "Pain meds twice a day. Do not let him do any heavy lifting or be too active for a few more weeks. Make sure that he is sleeping. If you need to give him sleeping medication go ahead, follow the directions closely. Jacob..." Dr. Iero lowered his voice, "keep a close eye on him. He is not well mentally and you need to make sure that he does not hurt himself." The doctor straightened up and smiled at the couple. "I'm always here if you need anything."

"Thank you," Jacob said. "You've done so much for us."

"Just doing my job. Take care now." Dr. Iero walked out of the room, leaving Troye and Jacob alone.

Jacob picked up some clothes that he had laid out, offering them out to Troye. "Do you want to change?" he asked. The hybrid just shrugged. "Here, let me help you."

Troye helped Jacob get the hospital gown off before slowly getting into a dark gray shirt and a pair of black jeans. It was too cold to wear a skirt and Troye had not shaved his legs since he got to the hospital, so he had no desire to wear a skirt in public. With minimal struggle Jacob managed to get Troye into the jeans, giving him a quick kiss that he did not return before slipping a red sweater over his shoulders and zipping it up.

Troye slowly stood up and took Jacob's hand in his own, walking super close to him as Jacob picked up the backpack and slung it over one of his shoulders. "You ready Kitty?"

Troye nodded slowly and glanced around the room one more time before they started walking out of the room, Troye basically glued to Jacob's side. They were walking calmly until they had to go through the ICU, the one door that led to the incubator room making Troye stop in his tracks. He let out a small, heartbroken meow and Jacob wrapped his arm around his shoulders. "It's okay baby," he reassured quietly. "Just remember that she is at peace now."

"B-but... what if she gets lonely?" Troye asked quietly. His voice was raspy due to how rarely he had been using it.

"She will not get lonely, I promise." Jacob's voice started to crack with tears so he quickly cleared his throat to cover it up. "Come on now angel, let's go get the boys. They haven't seen you for a couple of days."

The last time Troye had seen his sons was when Jacob brought them in to say goodbye their little sister. It was heartbreaking, watching Joel tell her how much he and Riley loved her and how much they would miss her. He gave her the teddy bear he had gotten her for Christmas. He gave it to her so that she wouldn't be lonely. So that she would not have to be lonely in a fucking morgue. Troye frowned angrily. It was not fair.

"Come on now," Jacob said, gently nudging Troye's shoulder. The neko nodded and started to walk forward, stopping after a few steps because Gee was running towards them, calling for them to stop.

"Before you leave," they panted quietly, glancing at the humans that were watching them judgmentally and flinching visibly, "I made you this."

Gee held out a piece of paper, waiting for Troye to take it. The blue eyed hybrid slowly took the paper from the golden eyed one, flipping it over to see what was on the other side. He instantly started to cry when he saw the drawing on it.

There was a tiny neko all wrapped up in a blanket, a little pink hat atop her head. Her little golden coloured ears peaked out, her eyes closed peacefully. She had a pacifier in her mouth, but it was obvious that she was smiling due to the shape of her little cheeks. One tiny hand was wrapped around the blanket, her tiny fingers adorable. The whole picture was done beautifully, the colours gorgeous and the lines looking professional. Under the picture in small, neat letters was Luana Marie Bixenman, 2017.

"Gee, it's so beautiful," Troye whispered, reaching out and hugging the dark haired neko, careful not to wrinkle the drawing in anyway. "I love it so much, thank you."

Gee shrugged, their cheeks light pink with a blush. "Oh, it's nothing. I just thought that you may want something like that."

"I love it more than you could ever imagine." Troye handed Jacob the picture and watched as he looked over it closer.

"This is so gorgeous," Jacob said in awe. "We are defiantly getting a frame for this. Thank you so much, Gee."

"I'm glad you like it," Gee said with a proud smile. "I should let you go now though. I don't want to hold you up any longer."

"Okay," Troye smiled. "Bye, Gee. Talk to you soon, hopefully."

"See ya," Gee said with a giggle before skipping off.

"I'm so happy that we know people like Gee, Daddy. They are so nice to us."

"They are," Jacob agreed. "Come on now, let's go get a frame for this."
