Desert Song - My Chemical Romance

triple update xDDD

Joel, Riley and Zoë all sat still as statues in a line by the stairs, their ears forward as they observed Troye silently struggling against Jacob. He was not winning though, which was no surprise seeing as Jacob had him thrown over his shoulder, one arm holding him in place while the other hand held onto the railing, making sure they didn't both go flying. Troye kicked and pushed against Jacob, but the man did not seem fazed.

"Thank you for coming over," Jacob said to Alfie as he set Troye on the couch, one hand on his collar so that he could not leave. "I really appreciate it."

"Oh it's nothing," Alfie replied, watching as Troye tried to stubbornly hold his foot away from Jacob, who was just trying to put his shoe on him.

"I guess you know the routine by now," Jacob muttered. "We will try not to be too long. Troye, if you don't stop struggling you're going barefoot."

Troye paused to think for a moment before continuing to pull against Jacob. The man muttered a bored 'fine' and picked the hybrid up again. Troye winced at the pain in his abdomen but did not stop struggling until Jacob had him in the car and strapped in.

Troye huffed as he was put in the backseat rather than the passengers. He tried to open the door, but pulling on the handle did nothing. He tried the other door too, but the child safety lock was turned on, on each side. The neko sat back and crossed his arms over his chest, a pout on his pale face.

Jacob turned on some music, turning it up as some over played song by Justin Bieber came on, causing Troye to pin his ears right against his hair. He did not like this music, Jacob knew that.

Once again, he was not going to talk just because of Jacob's shitty music taste.

The drive to the hospital was not a long one. It only took about ten minutes to get there. Troye was still pouting as Jacob parked the car and came around to the back, pulling him out and trying to ignore the scratches Troye was leaving on the interior of his car as he fought.

Once Troye was back up over his shoulders, Jacob walked him into the hospital and up in to the wing where Dr. Iero's office was located. They entered the office and Jacob said hi to the secretary, telling her that they were here for 'Sivan', owned by Jacob himself.

Jacob sat down and Troye turned around and sat in Jacob's lap, a pout on his face. He fluffed up his tail and waved it in the mans face just to annoy him until Jacob grabbed it and gently held it down. Troye quickly got bored of trying to get his tail back and just laid back against Jacob, his arms crossed over his chest.

They sat like this for exactly seven minutes (Troye had been watching the clock) until Dr. Iero walked in. All he had to do was glance over at them before Troye was up and walking towards him, his arms still crossed and his ears pinned. He came to a stop right in front of the short man, sending him a look that clearly said 'I don't want to be here'.

"Well..." Dr. Iero said awkwardly, looking at Troye. Troye raised an eyebrow, flicking his tail. "Um... Come on back."

Troye marched right past the doctor when he said this, coming to a stop when he realized that he did not actually know where he was going. "Four," Dr. Iero muttered. Troye nodded and turned around to walk back a few steps, entering room four and stomping to the bed. He sat on the crinkly paper and glared at the floor, refusing to look up when the two men entered the room.

Dr. Iero cleared his throat, looking down at some papers. "So... I hear that you have stopped talking, eating, leaving your room, communicating with your kids, sleeping in your bed... Need I go on?"

Troye rolled his eyes.

"I'll take that as a no. Firstly, let's take your weight."

Troye made no effort to move.

"Now," Jacob said, his voice stern enough to get Troye to his feet and scurrying over to the scale. He didn't have to do anything but stand on it, seeing as he was already shoeless.

Dr. Iero frowned at the number that came up, jotting it down. "Okay, I need you to take your shirt off."

Troye shook his head.

"Troye," Jacob said warningly.

The neko still shook his head, wrapping his arms around his body protectively.

"I need to see. Can you just lift it up for me?"

No.

Dr. Iero sighed. "If you would just give me a moment... I'll be right back." He left the room, shutting the door behind him.

As soon as he was gone, Jacob turned to Troye with a frustrated glare. "Why can't you just cooperate for a little while? Why are you acting like this?" Jacob buried his hands in his hands, just sitting there and muttering to himself. He was so fucking done. How was he supposed to deal with all of this? He simply could not raise two nekos as humans by himself. He couldn't stand to see the way Troye was abusing himself over something that simply was not his fault. He could not bring himself to think about what it was that was causing Troye to abuse himself.

Troye silently sat on the bed, his ears slowly coming forward and his scowl fading from his face. He observed the way Jacob's shoulders seem to shake slightly. Oh no. He wasn't crying, was he? Troye tried to see his face, but it was impossible because of the way he was sitting. The blue eyed kitty started to stand, but quickly decided against it. But then he decided against that. But then his mind flipped back to the first thought.

Oh no, Troye didn't know what to do.

He was so tossed. He could either continue to sit here and be a selfish shit head, or he could go and comfort the man who had comforted him through so much. Well, when it was put like that it was easier to make a decision.

Troye silently got up off of the bed and walked over to the chair that Jacob was sitting on. He took a deep but quiet breath and laid his hand on Jacob's shoulder gently, causing the man to look up.

Troye looked into Jacob's hazel eyes and felt his heart ache. The human looked so tired, so broken. "I..." Troye just looked down at him for a few more moments before bursting into tears and falling into Jacob's lap, wrapping his arms around the man and squeezing tightly as possible.

"Jacob, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you so bad or leave you on your o-own... You've done so much for me over the years and it was so selfish of me to leave you with all of the work when you were suffering as well. I wish I could take it back,  Jay. I love you a lot and I hope you can forgive me. Then maybe we could start to heal and get better and we could go back to normal. I really hope you can forgive me... I love you."

A smile slowly broke out onto Jacob's face as he looked at his blue eyed beauty in his lap. "I forgive you, baby."

The hybrid gasped, searching Jacob's face to see if he was lying. When he found that he was not, Troye fell forward and hugged him again. "I'm sorry," he said. This time he was not talking about Luana though. He was talking about everything that had happened after they lost Luana. "I love you so, so much Jacob. Thank you for everything."
