"Daddy is in trouble!" Joel sang as he skipped into the house, being careful not to hurt his arm as he sat down on the carpet and gave Riley a hello kiss on the top of his head. Jacob followed him in and shot him a warning look, then Troye followed. His tail was between his legs and he was on all fours, his ears laying back guiltily. He slinked past Jacob and Hari and walked to the corner of the room, sitting down and staring at the wall, ignoring anything else that was happening in the room.

Hari looked at him with raised eyebrows but did not say anything, handing Jacob his youngest son. "So Joel's arm is broken?"

"Yup. Greenstick fracture, they said it only happens in kids." Jacob turned Riley around and made a face at him, the neko smiling in return. "A few weeks with the cast and it'll be healed."

Hari nodded. "I'm glad that he is okay. Riley was good, he had a nap and ate his lunch."

"Thank you so much for taking such good care of him, Hari. You wouldn't believe how much I appreciate it."

"It's no problem, you know I love taking care of him. Now, what did he do?" She nodded towards Troye, who was still staring at the blank white wall. "He seems pretty upset."

"He acted out and got in trouble, that's all. He was very, very bad and he knows that calls for punishment."

Hari just nodded, watching the way Troye's kitty ears twitched as he listened to the conversation they were having, not turning his head to look at them. It was obvious he felt bad, he knew what he had done was very wrong. He felt bad for hurting his master. He felt so bad his chest physically hurt.

"I'll take him up after dinner. You two ate lunch, right?"

"Of course we did," Hari said. "Do you want me to get anything?"

"No, he can do it. Troye, come here." Troye's cheeks matched Joel's toy fire truck as he slowly crawled over, flinching every time Jacob lifted a finger. "You need to make food for the boys and Hari and I and then we will have a chat, okay?"

Troye nodded and whispered 'yes sir' before hurrying to the kitchen and getting off the floor, washing his hands. He grabbed a pot and filled it with water, putting it on the stove to boil. While that boiled he grabbed a smaller pot, cheese, milk, and other ingredients. He was going to make some quick macaroni and cheese for Joel because he had been so good for the doctor. He felt like crying as he grated the cheese and started to make the sauce, trying to be quick. He set the table himself, not bothering to ask for Joel's help. He set out a plate for Jacob and Hari and got out Joel's and his bowls, filling up Joel's water dish with milk and his own with fresh water. He preferred eating on the floor much more than eating at the table with humans, and Joel also needed to understand how it would work when he eventually found an owner.

Troye chose out a jar of baby food for Riley, setting it on the tray of his highchair. He snuck over and took Riley from Jacob and hurried back to the kitchen so he could feed him before the older nekos and people ate. "Hi angel," he said quietly, buckling Riley into the chair. "I missed you today." He unscrewed the lid on the jar and started to feed it to Riley, giggling along with him as he ate. "I love you a lot," Troye promised as he set the half empty jar down and have Riley a few freeze dried yogurt drops, draining the pasta and mixing the sauce into it.

"It's ready," he said, just loud enough for everyone to hear. Joel of course ran as fast as he could into the dining room and dropped to his knees in front of his bowl, watching excitedly as he was served. When Jacob gave him the okay to eat he basically threw himself forward, eating too fast for his own good. Troye on the other hand sat and looked down at his macaroni, not moving to eat. He wasn't hungry.

"Eat, Troye." Jacob's voice was stern, he was not fooling around. Troye glanced up at him, the first thing he noticed was the bandaid on Jacob's arm. That made him feel even worse and less hungry, but he forced himself to take a few tiny bites.

He didn't want the meal to be over as once it was he would have to talk to Jacob and he would probably be spanked. It wouldn't be enjoyable either, it was a punishment after all.

They finished eating and Troye cleaned up, dragging his feet as he moved as slowly as he could manage. "Troye, the longer you take the worse it will get." The blue eyed neko hurried to finish the dishes and put the left overs away before crawling over to Jacob and sitting down at his feet, looking up at him with teary eyes. "Up to the bedroom, Troye."

The neko nodded and stood up, hurrying up the stairs with his tail held low, scurrying up to the bedroom and sitting on the floor again. He watched Jacob as he walked in and sat on the bed, looking right back down at his kitten.

"Do you know what you did wrong?"

"Yes sir."

"Then tell me what you did."

Troye took a shaky breath before beginning. "I did not listen to you and had a tantrum. And I... I hissed at you and I...."

"And you?"

"And I b-bit you!" Troye started crying, hiding his face in his hands. "I'm so sorry sir! I didn't- I don't-" Troye couldn't get his words out due to his sobs, and he couldn't make himself look Jacob in the eye. "I-I don't know why Kitty did it, daddy I'm so sorry! Kitty is so, so, so sorry!"

Jacob sighed, wishing he could comfort Troye. That wouldn't have been a smart move though, he was in trouble. "Come lay over my lap now, Troye. You need to be spanked then we can talk some more, okay?"

Troye sniffled, trying to get his tears under control. "O-okay, daddy."
