It was a busy day in the Bixenman household.

Everyone had finished eating and breakfast had been put away, the boys were happily playing with their mouse toys that had bells inside of them and Troye was sat on the counter painting his nails a light shade of purple. Jacob was seated at the table with his laptop, all three of the nekos' registration papers, his passport, and many other important papers. It was time to begin planning their vacation to Canada. Ryan and Brendon were all for it, the snow was already deep and the kittens were sure to have a blast.

Jacob was making a list of everything they had to do, from shopping and packing to any other appointments that needed to be made. It had been three days since Joel had broke his wrist and he seemed happy enough, but it was a pain to have to keep him slowed down slightly. He was acting like nothing was wrong as he ran about the house, his brother crawling along behind him and grabbing  at his tail.

"I still need to see Dr. Iero," Troye said, putting the lid back on his nail polish and waving his hands in an attempt to get his nails to dry faster. He pulled his legs up onto the counter and crossed his legs, then trying to blow on his nails. "It would be good to do so before we leave, ya know? I just wanna make sure our little kitten is okay."

Jacob nodded, jotting something down on the list. "That sounds like a good idea."

"I'm sure everything is fine, I just want to be positive." Troye smiled and slid off the counter, walking over to Jacob and wiggling into his lap. "I love you."

"I love you too, Kitty. Now, is there anything else you need?"

Troye shook his head no, leaning his head back against Jacob's shoulder with a purr. "'m good. Just snow suits, really. It's cold over there and Ryan says there's a lot of snow."

"I've already got that down. You will need to alter them for their tails, yeah?"

"Mhm. I can tell you right now that it is not comfortable to have your tail all caught up."

Jacob chuckled, "I'm sure its not. We will go for those as soon as we can, yeah?"

"Okay," Troye said, giving a nod. He cuddled up to Jacob the best he could without disturbing his typing and watched the boys playing on the carpet in the living room. They looked so happy, Joel talking away to Riley and pushing a ball to him and giggling every time he pushed it back. Troye himself was pretty tired despite it only being ten in the morning. He was starting to fall asleep when there was a knock on the door, jerking him from his half asleep state. He meowed in surprise and disliking as Jacob stood up, taking him with. He clutched onto Jacob's shirt and rested his head on the man's shoulder while Jacob carried the neko on his hip just like Troye would carry Joel.

Jacob walked them to the door and pulled it open, greeting whoever was there. Troye turned to see a man he did not recognize and a neko he had seen before but did not know the name of. Jacob obviously did know who the man was as he set Troye on the ground and pulled the shorter man into a hug as soon as he saw him. "Pete Wentz, how did you even find this place?" Jacob asked as he pulled away from the man.

The guy who must have been Pete shrugged with a lighthearted smile, looking down at Troye who was sat on the floor looking up at them with a disapproving look. "Wasn't that hard, I asked Frank. He has Mikey's brother," he said, nodding towards the hybrid that stood beside him. Mikey looked at Troye through glasses, seeming friendly enough. If he was anything like Gerard he would be nice.

"Can he legally give that information out?" Jacob asked, raising an eyebrow. Pete shook his head no, but did not say anything further on the matter. "Well, come in I suppose, I don't want to leave you out there on the porch." He stepped to the side and let them come in. Mikey seemed to be a bit jumpy, just like his litter mate, and he stuck super close to Pete.

"Troye, sweetie, go put some tea on for Pete, will you?"

Troye nodded and dragged himself off the floor, rubbing his tummy as he went. He was so tired all of a sudden, he would much rather just lay on the floor. "Would you like to come too Mikey?" Troye asked politely as he brushed his shirt off, smiling at the new neko.

"That's a good idea, eh Mikey? You run along with Troye and help him with the tea." Pete kissed Mikey's cheek before giving him a light push, encouraging him to go along with the curly haired boy. Mikey just nodded and followed Troye silently, playing with his light brown coloured tail.

"I'm Troye," Troye said as he led the new neko to the kitchen. "These are my kittens, Joel and Riley. Do you have any kittens Mikey?"

"No," Mikey said, his voice super quiet.

"Are you able to?" This conversation was happening pretty early in their potential conversation, but Troye couldn't help himself. He got so excited at the thought of kittens, whether they were his own or not.

"Yeah," Mikey said. "I mean... I have had a couple before but they were sold." He looked over at Joel and Riley playing happily with their toys and frowned. "You're so lucky."

Troye frowned too. It sucked that nekos had to sell their kittens sometimes. Some did not mind, but others did, and Troye could not imagine not having a relationship with Joel, Riley and the kitten on the way. He missed his own mom sometimes too... He often wondered if she missed him and his siblings too. "I am lucky," Troye said, his tone now matching Mikey's. "I can't even imagine..."

"Don't even try," Mikey said. "It hurts too much."
