Chapter 37- The plank and the pallet
We got closer and closer to the bridge, and we kept running into Hunters.
" Look's like they're guarding the thing." Uncle Joel said, as two of the Hunters interned a building that had a bus sticking out of the front of it. " Can you swim with that ankle of yours?"
" I should be able to."
Uncle Joel got in the water and got a plank and brought it back to help Ellie to get on top of a bus so she could get the plank and put it in between a container that was stuck in a coffee place.
" There's a way in through this container." Uncle Joel said as he climbed into it while Ellie put up the plank
" Careful where you swim," Uncle Joel warned me as I entered the shop. " This building looks like it's getting ready to fall down."
We scavenged and then joined Ellie who was waiting for us in a Hotel across the now flooded street.
We had to cross the plank that leads to the bus that gave us away inside through a window.
We scavenged that area and when we walked up the stairs, we heard voices.
Quietly hopping out of the window and entering in another window, we found ourselves in another mess.
Uncle Joel, Ellie and I shived the guys that were in the way and finally got passed them.
