( Ellie's P.O.V.)
( A few minutes before the bandits showed up)
I looked at Quill, worried about her.
I couldn't imagine what she was feeling.
" What kind of stuff do you two like?" Maria asked.
" Comic's, animals, and driving Uncle Joel crazy," Quill said, as she smirked. " Right Ellie?"
" Yeah." I said as I forked a peach.
" What do you like to do?"
" I don't really have a lot of time to enjoy myself," She told us. " But when I get a chance to, I spend it with your Father Quill. Look, I love him, and I would never hurt him in any-"
" If Dad trusts you, I do too," Quill told her. " Even though I have only known you for 4 minutes, you seem like a nice person."
" Were those gunshots? I asked.
We stopped talking and listened.
A few more gunshots went off a few seconds later.
Maria got on the radio and told Tommy that bandits were breaking into the building.
" Can you get out of there?" He asked.
" No, we're hiding in the kitchen."
" Were coming, just stay there."
( Joel's P.O.V.)
We made it to what I was guessing was the dining room in minutes, to find a room filled with bodies.
