Jin pov

You already talked yourself into it!

No turning back!

My heart thumps in my chest as I walk down the empty hallway. Pink and red hearts are tapped to the walls and small cupid's hang from the ceiling.

He's here.

You can do it!

His back is turned towards me.

I try to call out his name, but clutch my throat when my voice doesn't come out. It's like someone pressed a mute button as I continue to call his name and pray he turns around. My throat is raw from the screaming. For some reason fear keeps me from reaching out to turn him around.

I'm here!

I ball my hands into fist at my side and force my hand forward. I whip him around and cry out when his face holds no eyes and his mouth is pulled into a sinister grin. I fall onto the floor and back away as he steps forward, each foot fall leaving an earthquake in its wake. My body shakes from the tremors and my eyes widen when the floor crumbles from beneath me.

Suddenly, I am jolted up from my sleep and gasping for air as I look around at my familiar surroundings. My body is hot and sticky. My hair is wet and plastered to my forehead and my head is pounding against my skull. I wince when I try to move off my bed, but a sharp pain slices through my skull and I'm left holding it.

There's already light shining out my window so I know it's probably early morning. I shut my eyes and think for a moment. I don't have anymore cold medicine so I'll have to check the grocery store off campus for some. Just great. Figures, I would be sick after having that nightmare.

...I always get that same nightmare around Valentine's Day.

I chuckle darkly to myself. I guess this is what they call being thoroughly traumatized. I thought I escaped it this year because Valentine's day was yesterday, but I guess not. I run my hand through my hair and frown at the sweat. I need to take a shower. Good thing my first class doesn't start until 1:30 today.

I stand up from my bed, but hold my hands out to balance since I am a little off centered before making my way to the bathroom. I peel off my clothes and step into the shower, letting the water warm up with me in it. Soon enough the bath is steaming and I am soaking wet as I lather soap all over my body. Then, I shampoo and condition my hair, sighing as I massage my scalp.

After another ten minutes, I get out and wrap a towel around my waist. I go to my drawer and take out some fresh clothes. Soon enough, I'm standing in some Adidas sweat pants and my gray sweater before putting on another jacket and my winter boots. My outfit clashes, but I could care less as I leave my dorm room and head out to the student parking lot.

The whole way to the parking lot, I drag my feet and wipe my nose on my sleeve. I can barely keep my eyes open since this migraine has no mercy. I massage my temples as I unlock my car door and sink into my seat. I open the glove compartment and send a quick thank you up when I find a small stack of tissues. I quickly blow my nose before pulling out onto the rode. I'm at the grocery store in another five minutes since it was so close and walk inside.

The lights are brighter and cause me to wince and cover my eyes. I push back the pain and dizzy spell that sets in as I look for the aisle with the medicine I need to calm this fever. Life seems to screw me over more when I spot Namjoon standing right in front of the section I need to get too. As if sensing my presence, he lifts his head and a small smile graces his lips. His dimples stick out, but then I notice the scratch mark that is on his right cheek. I avert my eyes when he walks over to me. "Hey, Jin. Why are you here?"
