Jin pov
The coffee shop isn't as busy since it's not peak hour. However, there are a few girls sitting at a table by the front window talking among themselves as they type on their laptops though. A man in a suit is ordering in the front and then there they are. Daehyun and his lover. He said his name the other day, but I already forgot.
So he brought his boyfriend...I glance at Namjoon who rest his hand on my shoulder. "They're right there." I point to the two sitting near the back. They are both sipping out of their second servings of coffee while talking quietly. I smirk because I convinced Namjoon to wait an hour before we left to see if Daehyun would really wait.
"Ready?"
"Lets get this over with." Before Namjoon can say anything, I march over to them and love the reaction I get when I catch Daehyun off guard and have him spitting up his drink.
He holds out his tongue, "That burned."
Ironic.
I instantly frown when his boyfriend takes a napkin and wipes up the coffee that was left on his chin. "You need to be more careful." He remarks before standing up with a smile and holding out his hand for me to shake. "Hi, we kind of met. I'm youngjae."
I don't have any resentment towards him so I shake his hand, but ignore Daehyun's. "I'm Seokjin and this is Namjoon." They both look at Namjoon who's face is unreadable on the suface, but I know he's probably waiting for something big to happen. I tear my gaze away from him and get straight to the point. "Youngjae, you seem like a nice person but I would like to speak to Daehyun alone."
"Yeah, I think that's for the best." Daehyun says and Youngjae's face seems to darken. As if I couldn't find more reason to gag, Daehyun softens up and gives him a lopsided smile. "Seokjin and I need this time alone."
"Okay-"
"I'll keep you company." Namjoon says and grabs Youngjae's wrist pulling him away to leave us alone. They find a table on the other side of the room while I force myself to sit across from the man that made my existence a living hell, feeling my stomach twist in knots as he reaches for my hand across the table. I raise a brow and slide my hand under the table.
"How have you been."
"Really?" He sighs and rubs his neck.
"I don't know how to really start this..."
"Then let me help you." I lean forward. "Why the hell are you alright with kissing another man. Are you gay?" He winces at my harsh tone and I wait for a response.
"Well, that's a long story."
"I'm listening." I grit out and he sips his drink again.
"When we graduated I was at an all time low. I felt torn up about what I did to you because well I was lying to myself. I thought since I still had feelings for girls, I was straight and I couldn't be gay. I was confused back then and didn't know how to react when you confessed your feelings. I didn't have the confidence to accept your feelings." He bites down on his lips and I curse for watching the color fade and his tongue slide across them. I blink and focus back on his face. "I- uh...I'm bisexual."
"Excuse me."
He looks down as his ears turn red, "I know. I regret how I tortured you and tried to cure you. I admit in high school I was an ignorant fool and I probably can't erase what I did to you-"
"No, you can't." I say laced with venom.
"I went through a huge depression my first year of college..."
