Namjoon pov

Tell me what you want to drink.

The door bell sounds as I walk into the coffee shop and the employees greet me. The smell of coffee beans travel up my noise as I walk towards the register. There's already a small line forming so I take my place behind a short female student. I distract myself from my impatience by looking at the employees moving around behind the counter to make drinks.

Soon enough I find myself humming to the soft background music that's playing before the door opens again. I twist my head behind me expecting to see the man that has consumed my thoughts, but instead my jaw goes slack from the sight of Daehyun casually walking towards the line. His steps falter when he spots me in the back of the line, but he hides his shock and takes his place in line. "I didn't expect to see you here."

He nods his head in agreement, "Yeah, same. You're the guy that Jin was with that one time..."

"Yeah and he told me everything you did to him." My eyes darken as Daehyun's shoulders deflate.

"I'm trying to straighten things out with Jin..." He mumbles, "That's partially why I'm here."

My left hand balls into a fist, but my right stays clasped around my phone as I wait for Jin's text. Did he know that we planned on meeting here? I decide to play it cool as I ask, "What's a coffee shop going to do?"

He lets out a deep sigh, "Well, this might sound crazy, but I'm leaving it to fate. If Jin walks through the doors while I'm here then...I'll tell Youngjae something that I should have never let happen to Jin." His words pique my interest, but we're interrupted by the cashier calling the next person in line. I walk up to the register right when I get a text from Jin-

J: I want a Hazelnut Latte with extra cream~

I smirk at his message and order mine and his drink. Then, step to the side so Daehyun can order his. I move over to the waiting section and frown when Daehyun decides to stand by me again. "Why'd you order two drinks?"

I scan him up and down, eyeing his genuine curiosity and decide to mess with him a little. "It's for my boyfriend." I smirk when I successfully make his face turn red.

"B-boyfriend? Do you mean-"

"Maybe." I joke and have to hold in my laughter since he hasn't realized i'm lying. The timing is almost too perfect as Jin comes walking into the cafe. His eyes light up when he sees me before they narrow into tiny slits at the sight of Daehyun. I'm glad I'm not at the receiving end of his glares. But, I will admit.

Angry Jin is a turn on.

I watch as his chest visibly rises and falls as he tries to calm his emotions probably. Then, he begins a slow walk towards us. It's like each step is painful as his face scrunches the closer he gets. "Hey." He says sharply while turning his body away from Daehyun. "Did you order my drink?"

"Yeah, I'm waiting for it to be ready now." I answer and glance over at Daehyun who is picking away at his nails timidly. Seeing him like this is just sad. He's actually that intimidated by Jin. "You know..." I start, still looking in Daehyun's direction. "I ran into Daehyun and he was telling me some strange stuff."

Jin grits his teeth while I figure out how to phrase my next sentence, "He said he was going to tell Youngjae something..."

Jin's eyes widen before his head gives off an irritated tick. "Oh really. Did he say what?"

I shake my head and Jin seems to relax a little. "Just that it's something he should have never let happen..."

"Well, you can't change the past can you?" It's obvious that he's using me to indirectly speak to Daehyun by the venom laced in his words. We're distracted by the lady behind the counter calling us to get our drinks. Once Jin and I snatch ours up, Daehyun is left standing without his. Jin is more than happy to take the lead and start walking towards the door, but I spare some words of encouragement to Daehyun.

"I hope everything goes well with Youngjae." He hums in response before we part ways and I jog to catch up to Jin who's throwing the door open. "Hey, slow down a little. He's not following us." I grab Jin's free arm and pull him to a stop. "Let's find a bench and relax."

Jin grumbles under his breath, but I know he's starting to calm down. "Okay..."

                              ***

I sip from my cup and watch Jin swirl his cup in his hand. "Feeling any better?"

"A little." He breathes and I have to hold in my emotions. His finger is picking at his lid timidly and it's making him look even cuter.

"Good. Let's not talk about him. We agreed to meet up and just spend time together without all the drama."

Jin bites down on his lip before sliding his tongue over it slowly. "Sorry. It's just hard to control my emotions around Daehyun. He gets me so mad."

"I get that. I have a person like that too. Not at your level though." I add, making Jin stare at me skeptically.

"Who?"

My face warms as his face flashes through my head, "Everyone has a person like that. Mine is just an old regret I have..." I say steering away from the topic.

"You mean your old boyfriend?" He asks and I wince. Damn, I forgot I briefly mentioned him to Jin.

"Uh, yeah. It was a bad break up."

"He must have been a jerk to hurt you. You're so nice." Jin smiles to himself and I capture the expression and save it to my memory. The way his eyes crinkle a little on the side and the almost invisible laugh line he has all the way to the slight shine he has to his eyes and rosy cheeks. "What are you staring at?"

"Huh?"

Jin leans in closer to me, "Do I have something on my face?"

I gulp at the close proximity and wait for Jin to leave, but instead an evil gleam descends upon his face. I'm frozen as he takes my drink out of my hand and presses his soft lips to the opening on the lid. I can practically feel the Caramel Macchiato slide down his throat, gluing me to the spot. After another sip, Jin hands my drink back like he wasn't trying to give me a boner. "Way to steal a drink."

"Me? Steal? Never." He plays, making me laugh at his sudden silliness.

"What else do you call just sipping someone else's drink?"

"You're not just someone else though." He replies, "It was more like sharing." He holds out his drink. "Here, I'll even let you try mine."

"No, thanks. I'm not in the mood for hazlenut."

"Really?" I nod my head, "Want to know what I'm in the mood for?"

"Um..." My face warms as Jin tilts his neck to the side, exposing his collar.

"Guess what?"

"What?"

I roll my eyes as his lips curve, "I'm sober."

"Huh?" He gives me a moment to process everything and sits back against the bench while calmly taking a sip from his hazelnut latte. "Wait, are you serious?"

"Want to find out?" He responds and that's all I need to jump up from the bench. He let's a chuckle escape his lips as I pull him up.

"Your dorm?"
