Namjoon pov

The room is loud with people talking over their stoves as they work on the ingredients for Chapssal Doughnuts. This week in the cooking club, Ken thought it would be cool to switch it up and make a sugary treat. I would have preferred a real meal to stuff my face with, but I find myself craving something sweet, recalling the Hotteok Jin had me try a few weeks ago.

Speaking of Jin, he's busy demonstrating to Taehyung how to stir the pot full of red beans that we'll fill the donuts with later. He lets Taehyung take over the stirring as he starts on kneading the dough. He presses his body weight into the table as he moves it around and shapes them into small balls. "Namjoon, help me make the donuts." He instructs and I snap out of my thoughts. I start breaking some of the dough off and roll them around in the palms of my hands.

None of mine come out as good as his, but unlike any other thing we've made he hasn't tried to correct me yet or redo one I messed up. Ever since his mom visited two weeks ago, he's been acting like everything was normal. He doesn't bring up any complex topics or try to talk about his past. He just treats me like a normal friend. The only difference is he purposely avoids being left alone with me. I only ever talk to him when someone else is there. Whether it be Hoseok, Sung Kyung, or Momo. Someone is there blockading him from my attacks.

Well, I wouldn't attack him. I just want to have an honest talk with him since we've both had time to calm down. I frown when Taehyung starts stuffing the donuts with the red bean paste but messes up some of their round shapes in the process. Even my deformed donuts look more like big blobs now, but yet again Jin doesn't complain. He just puts them into the oven and sets the timer for 20 minutes.

"That was exhausting." Taehyung says as he stuffs his face with some of the excess red bean. How can he eat that with nothing else?

"That was the easiest dish we've made this whole semester." Jin chimes in and Taehyung stomps his feet like a five year old.

"Hey, that doesn't mean it wasn't still hard." Jin pats his shoulder.

"Okay, what ever." Jin turns to me and raises an eyebrow. "I meant to ask, but where's Yoongi?"

"He's out with Jimin." I reply, simply. They've been spending so much time together it's sickening. Yoongi leaves early to see Jimin on his free days or he comes back to the dorm late at night when I'm in the middle of...handling business. "They went to see some new movie."

I glance over at Taehyung to see him frozen mid chew. "They seem cute." Jin says with a small smile on his face. It's then that a question pops into my head. How does he feel when he sees other gay couples? Does he get jealous or is he indifferent. No, he has to feel something. I don't buy his poker face for one second.

"Yeah, gay couples are the best gift to humanity." I add and Jin's left eye twitches slightly. To anyone else it would go unnoticed, but I've been carefully reading his expressions for the passed...ever since we met actually. He just interest me so much. Now, more than ever.

"Mhmm." He says.

"I'm hungry!" Taehyung shouts earning a few giggles across the room. A few girls that are finished baking theirs offer him some and that's all it takes for him to ditch us. I face Jin who's eyes are concentrated on cleaning up our work station. He puts the dirty utensils and pot of red bean paste into the sink and turns on the faucet.

"Can we talk?"

"No." He says as he scrubs away. I sigh, expecting him to be less blunt with his answers. One things for sure, we are definitely on thin ice. Did he put me back on the do not associate with list again!

"Jin, the way things ended. We need to clear some things up." I whisper so no one else can hear.

He lets the soap wash off the pot before placing it on the drying rack. "Namjoon, somethings aren't meant to be discussed. These are one of those things."

A frown tugs at my lips, "I want to help you."

"I don't need help." He snaps, earning a few curious glances our way. "...washing the dishes." They turn away and his eyes narrow as he wipes off the wooden spoon we used to stir the red bean paste. "Stop acting like I need therapy."

At this point, he might. "You won't get anywhere in life like this."

"Says who?"

I roll my eyes, "You know I'm right. When was the last time you had a crush on a guy or found one attractive?"

"Never." He spits and I narrow my eyes at him. "I shut that part of my brain off years ago."

"That's bull. How is that even possible?" I hiss, "You can't possibly not react when you see an attractive guy walking the streets." He smirks and turns to me, placing his hands on his hips.

"I'm the most attractive man I know. That's all I need." I face palm and try to calm my nerves. What the hell. I can't argue that. He is damn beautiful. "See, you think so." I eye him between the cracks in my fingers and he rolls his eyes. "Anyways, I am done with this little talk."

The timer runs out and I shut it off while he pulls the steaming donuts out the oven. "More donuts!" Taehyung shouts and runs over, but Jin slaps his hand away. "Ouch...but the donuts."

"They have to cool off a little or they'll break and we still have to put the sugar on top." Jin scolds and I smile at the motherly tone he uses. Jin licks his lips and my eyes snap to his mouth. I need him to accept himself so I can have my way with him asap. I haven't even called up any of my normal hookups since I've gotten involved with Jin. That never happens and we're not even dating. Since when have I ever practiced abstinence?

My eyes rack up Jin slowly taking him all in. His handsome face, broad shoulders...everything has me screaming for me to eat him up. He's different and I want him to want me...badly.

A/N Woohoo, update! Probably thought the last chapter would be about Namjin didn't you? I had to keep the suspense. I have so much planned for this story. Let's just say we're just getting started! Until next time my Burritos, deuces!
