Fresh Start

I gathered all that I needed for my sandwich and started to put it together.

Half way done I feel warm hands wrap around my waist. It made chills shoot through my body. But good chills. The distinct cologne smell told me it was Daniel. My insides felt like they were melting.

"So that's the effect I have on you. Good to know." Daniels said with a smirk.

I turned around in his arms to face him. My face probably bright red.

"Can I help you in any way Mr. Seavey?" I muttered and laughed.

"Mr. Seavey? Since when is that a thing?" He laughed

"Um I don't know what should I call you, Danny Boy?"

"I don't care anything you call me is fine." He smiled as he looked down on me.

"Back to my question, can I help you?"

From the living room I hear a bunch of hoots and whistles. I assume it's the rest of guys.

They were watching us.... great. Well we are in the kitchen.... across from the living room..... in their house......

"GET SOME DANNY" Jonah yelled

"OOOOOOOOOOO, I see the sparks." Shouted Zach

"KANIEL IS REAL!" Corbyn said

"Shut up and watch your movie you losers!" I shouted back.

"Yes mom." Said jack

I roll my eyes and turn back to Daniel. He's didn't
seemed bothered by them at all. I'm not either. But maybe I'm to dazzled by Daniel to care.

"Can you make some popcorn?" Daniel said snapping me out of my amazing visions.

"Of course." I Said giggling

"Thanks." He let go and winked at me. I honestly think I was redder than a tomato. But I didn't care.

I finish eating my sandwich and making the popcorn, so I walk over to the living room.

"Alright who wants some?" I say as five hands shoot up in the air. I laughed and handed it to zach and told him to pass it down. Looking around I noticed that there was no place left to sit. I decided I would sit on the floor but I guess Daniel saw me looking for a place to sit so he patted his lap, motioning for me to come sit with him.

What is going on, I'm living some crazy fantasy right now.

"You sure?" I ask him

"Yes just sit" Daniel said. I sat down in his lap and curled up in a ball, he wrapped his warm arms around me, rubbing his warm hand slowly on my arms. He made me feel so safe.

We watched most of the movie until I guess I fell asleep on Daniel. When it was over everyone left and went to bed. He got up picking me up bridal style and setting me back down on the couch . The process woke me up so I sleepily opened my eyes to see what was going on.

"You're fine, the movie ended and everyone's going to bed. I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry about your past and you deserve the world. No one should be treated the way you did. We should forget about all of it though. I'm glad you're staying with us and you're safe here. Actually I couldn't be happier. You're really pretty kate. I hope you can stay with us for a while. Good night, sleep well." He said

Too tired to say much in response so I mumble "thanks Danny boy you're amazing good night."

He got up and walked to his room up the stairs, leaving me to my endless thoughts. I didn't do much after that. Just lied there thinking to myself that Daniel just called me pretty and he's happy I'm with him and the boys.

He's truly makes me so happy. I couldn't get him off my mind. I wish he would just walk back down those stairs so I could just have him in my presence.
