DANIELS POV:

This darn "quick" checkup was taking too long. Emma and aspen had arrived and Corbyn had to leave because Christina just landed and he needed to pick her up. She was here for our one year anniversary. Kate can finally meet her and I know she's always wanted that.

But he was almost back from the airport which tells you how long it's been. They were about five minutes out from the hospital. I'd say it's been a good 20 minutes since Jonah called and since we got here.

Not that long you might think but it feels like a year and half.

The doctor came out moments later followed by all the nurses and medics and closed the door behind him, and we all directed our focus to him.

"Sorry for the wait gentlemen and ladies, we had to run a bunch of tests and make sure everything was stable. I have to say the fact that she woke up was very unexpected, you have quite the extraordinary girl in there" he said

"I know" I said quietly to myself, so only I could hear it.

"Well can we see her?" Emma asked impatiently.

"Yes yes, of course" he said. We all started forward towards the room but he stopped us. I was getting annoyed at this point.

Like seriously I just want to see her.

"Before you see her I need to know two things. One please don't be loud she's still recovering even though she's awake and a lot of sudden noise can cause pain, or major headaches so please be aware..." he started.

"Okay is that it sir I'd like to see my best friend now, EXCUSE ME!!" Emma said trying to get by.

"Well last thing is, because of how severe her head injuries were and her concussion..." he said

"No No don't say it, please please" Jonah said his eyes tearing up.

I was really confused. What was he going to say.

"What?" I Said looking at everyone's confused faces.

"Well... just go in. Please try to compensate and make her feel like she's safe" he said confusing everyone even more. He looked like he was speaking more to Jonah and it kind of pissed me off that he knew what was going on and not me. But at the same time I felt real bad and like I didn't want to know because he was crying.

The doctor stepped away from the closed door and left down the hall with a sad expression on his face.

I immediately pushed forward, the first through the door and Jonah last.

There she was, she looked over at us and blinked a couple times. It looked like she was counting how many people just entered her room so suddenly.

"Hello!" She said. I rushed to her bed with tears boiling up in my eyes.

She's awake and here she was. My angel. I couldn't contain myself I was so overjoyed.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you, kate, all of us we've been so worried." I Said

"Im so happy your awake we can finally go shopping as a squad again!!" Emma said excited

"Yeah we've been meaning for you to try this new flavor of chips that I think you'll love!" Said jack.

Aspen and Zach laughed.

I turned to her and looked at her in the eyes. Those beautiful blue eyes that I've missed looking eyes for far too long. I wanted to kiss her so bad but I was holding myself back until the right moment.

Although the one look that was imprinted on her face was really scaring me...

Confusion..

I reached for her hand but the second mine touched hers she pulled back and looked at me weirdly. My heart skipped a beat.

"K-kate?" I Said a year rolled down my cheek. Now I was confused I thought she had forgiven me I thought we were good and that we'd be back together.

"I-I'm Sorry... do I know you guys?" She said.

I know a terribly short chapter. Like very short. But I wanted to get something up and I was bored.... buuuuuutttt😭😭😭😭
........Amnesia.
😭 dang this girl has been through a lot. But we'll see how this goes. How is everyone going to handle her not remembering them? Will she eventually remember, or will she have to start over and make new memories? Team Jonah or team Daniel? Stay tuned😬😬 I'll upload when I can. Sorry for the cliffhanger. Comment what you think.
