Chapter 6

Two weeks had passed by and Ashley hadn't heard from Jared or Paul. She missed them and was worried.

The amount of Bear attacks in the area had increased. She was determined to find out what was going on with the two boys.

Bella was going to see Jacob so Ashley got a lift to La Push. "Are you sure you don't want to see Jake with me" Bella asked.

"No I need to find them. It's been two weeks, I need to know what's going on" Ashley said, the ending was more to herself.

They got out of the car and Jacob grinned at them. "I'm glad you're both here" he said. "I'm actually just getting a lift" Ashley told him.

Jacob frowned. "I came to hopefully grab Paul and Jared" she said. "Well good luck" he said with a forced smile.

Ashley went off looking for them. She went to the beach first since that was where she first met them.

After the beach she went looking every where. She ended up outside a small house. She never saw this house before.

"Ashley Swan" a man's voice said. She turned around to see Sam Uley. He was well known, in La Push for an apparent 'Gang', something Paul and Jared were apparently from.

"Hi it's nice to meet you official" Ashley said with a smile. Sam felt happy in the girls presence but he could not smile as it would make her want to stay.

"You shouldn't be here" he told her. "I'm sorry I was just looking for Paul and Jared, have you seen them" she asked.

"They don't want anything to do with you" he said. She felt her heart beat faster. "W-what" she asked.

Sam frowned at her. It was heart breaking seeing her like this. "They don't want to see you anymore" he said.

She felt her heart break slightly. "They said that" she asked. "Yes, they told me if I ever see you to tell you" he said.

"Oh Okay, thank you Sam, it was lovely to meet you" she said her voice breaking slightly.

"I hope you can trust me when I say it's for the best" he told her. She forced a smile as she looked at him.

"Maybe one day they'll forgive me for whatever I did wrong" she said. "You're not the problem they are" he said.

"They're perfect" she said before she went to the beach. She had tears running down her face knowing more people she cared about left her.

She sat down looking at the ocean. "Why do people keep leaving me" she asked knowing she wouldn't get a reply.

"Am I not good enough" she asked. The waves rolling on the beach and faint laughter from a few kids was all she could hear.

"They say I'm not the problem but I must be. First the love of my life leaves, then my two closest friends. Am I meant to have nobody" she asked.

She burst out crying. She couldn't handle the pain of everyone she loved leaving her, maybe she should leave them.

The more she sat there the more so thought about it. The Physical pain she felt with Shaun and her mother was nothing compared to the emotional pain she felt here.

A frown was on her face as she walked home. She needed the walk to clear her mind. She was unaware of the fact she was being followed.

Suddenly a loud howl went through the air. She took no notice of it as she kept walking until she reached her house.

She went straight to her room and laid on her bed. She was done. Done making friends. Done being Happy. If the world wanted her miserable she was going to be.
