Chapter Four

~Teegan's POV~

Looking at the clock, I'm surprised. I slept in! Jumping out of bed, I turned on Pandora and listened to "Three Days Grace" radio as I picked out an outfit suitable for today and made my way to take a well needed, refreshing shower.

After my shower, I got dressed and brushed my teeth. All while singing and dancing to 'I Hate Everything About You'. Starting my makeup, I decide to just go with the natural look today.

"I HATE EVERY-THING ABOUT YOUUUU." I sang, using my eyeshadow brush as a mic. "WHY DO I LOOOOVE YOU?!" I continued, jamming out. I guess a bit too much, "Oomph!" I sound, as I slipped on the wet floor. "Jesus.. How do rockstars do this?" I asked myself, standing up, "my bum hurts.."

"TEEGAN QUINN, TURN YOUR ANGRY MUSIC OFF, DAMMIT! I'M TRYING TO GET SOME BEAUTY SLEEP HERE!" I hear Nicole scream, "YEA, AND IT'S WELL NEEDED!" Violet threw back. Waiting for another complain on Nikki's behalf, I am pleasantly surprised when all I get is silence. Gosh, Vi is such a dick sometimes. I laugh to myself.

Deciding I had enough of me procrastinating, I got back to my makeup. Wait. Is Vi already up?

Dropping all my makeup, I run to Vi's room and welcome myself in. "YOU'RE ALREADY UP?! IT'S ONLY 9 AM!!!" I squeal, jumping on her.

"Ughhh, get. Off. Me." She mumbled, trying to shove me to the floor. I shook my head, "Nuh-uh, get ready! I want to go adventure today!" I demanded. I could feel her deeply breathing, "You lard arse, get off. You weigh more than a whale." She insulted. Wow. Thanks best friend. "Argh!" I protested, standing up. "Fine, I will just let Omar get you up!" I threatened, turning on my heel and walking back to my room to finish getting ready. "Damn her." Vi cursed, then not long after, I heard the bathroom door slam shut. Ha.

After finally deeming myself presentable for society, I strut downstairs and into the kitchen to find mom slaving away like the good mother she is. "Morning, mom!" I greeted, kissing her aging cheek. She tossed her head to the side, "Morning, love!" She smiled that beautiful smile of hers. Smiling myself, I stole a few pieces of turkey bacon mother deary just got done fixing up. "Mmm," I lowly moaned, "don't forget to remind me to kiss the next turkey I see, mom. All turkey's deserve a huge 'thank-you' for tasting so damn gooood!" I exclaimed, devouring the other piece I snatched.

"Yea, okayy. Weirdo." Voiced my ooh so lovely best friend. Note the sarcasm.. She's satan in disguise. Rolling my eyes, "Prude!" I called to Vi as I started walking to the living room. "'Prude'" She mimicked, "Stop being so cheerful this dreadfully early!" She cried, "It's inhuman."

Rolling my eyes, yet again, I grabbed my black leather jacket and slipped it on. "C'mon grouchy. Let's get moving!" I urged. "See ya later, momma!" I hollered as Vi and I left.

"So... What's up with the Gorgeous duo?" She asked as we made our way down our front porch. What a suiting name. I thought. "I have no idea," I paused, opening the gate for us to walk through, "not even a single clue." Latching the old rustic gate, she nodded her agreement and we started down the sidewalk, heading to the center of town. "The way he aided you Thursday, it was cute!" I teased, nudging her shoulder with mine. She smiled and bit her bottom lip, putting her pale hands in her red leather jacket pockets. "Yea.. I'm not sure what that was about.. He took me to the office, stayed for maybe a whole 2 minutes, then left." She looked forward, thinking about Thursday I'm sure. "I don't know what it is about those boys.. But I feel strangely connected to Jaxton.. I can't explain it." She said, sounding a bit frustrated.

I nodded my head eagerly, "Literally, same! When Zander was talking to me the other day.. I just.. I felt safe. But I also felt like he knew my darkest secrets.. It frightened me." I admitted. She drew a breath, "Ugh. I hate boys." She stated. I nodded, "Preach it, they royally suck."
