Scarlett's POV
"I have to be back in time to take Scarlett to school for her rehearsal." Mom spoke quickly to dad about my schedule over breakfast. I just kept pushing my food around. I wasn't hungry. Things weren't going great for me so what was the point of going anyway.
"I'm not going today." I said quietly.
"Are you ill?" She asked.
"Just not feeling up to it." I shrugged. "Can I be excused?" I asked. She nodded and I walked to my room. I didn't want to be around the table with them. Two award winning actors who have these kids who don't do much... How much more proud could they be?
"Scarlett's got boy issues." I looked up and saw Amelie smirking at me.
"No I don't. Now get out of my room." I growled.
"Make me!" She spat. I got up and shoved her out of my room. When she was out I slammed the door and sat on my bed. Where was all of this coming from? I was never mean to my siblings... Yeah we had differences, but never like this... I heard a knock on the door and saw mom peek her head in.
"Everything okay?" She asked. I shook my head and couldn't even face her... I heard her walk in and shut the door behind her. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked while sitting on my bed. I shook my head again and felt her arms around me. "When you're ready I'm here okay?" She said softly. I nodded and watched her leave my room. I couldn't tell her anything... She would just become upset with me...

I stayed in my room all day sorting through my things. I had so many things to get rid of. Clothes that were too small, books that I've outgrown, papers I really have no idea why I kept them. I kept throwing things into piles and digging under my bed. I found a few things that made me smile since I hadn't seen them in years. I kept going further and found a couple of pictures of me with friends. I set them on my desk and continued to dig through. Of course, I found all of my missing socks and some old chargers too. I was surprised at the amount of socks I found actually... There was a knock at my door and I saw my mom again.
"You've been in here all...Oh.. Now I see why." She laughed.
"Yeah.. Just cleaning." I shrugged.
"Are you okay? I've been worried about you while I was gone..." She frowned. I looked up and saw that she had makeup on still. Must've gone out for another shoot... "Scar?" She said while sitting on my bed.
"I'm fine." I lied. "Really, I am. Nothing to worry about." I faked a smile and saw the worry in her eyes.
"Scarlett.. I know you're not okay.. Please just talk to me..." She frowned.
"Mom, I'm fine. I don't understand why you won't believe me." I laughed nervously.
"Because you only clean your room like this when you're upset." She said quickly. I frowned and let out a sigh. She had me there. "Now are you going to tell me?"
"I just... I can't.." I frowned.
"What do you mean can't? If it's about the Spanish class you took, Daveed already told us. Your dad wasn't mad. He knew you were more fluent in French than Spanish. It's okay." She smiled. I nodded and then shook my head. "No? Then what's bothering you?"
"I don't think I'm meant to be an actress..." I frowned. "I'm not good enough to be in anything." I added.
"Where is this coming from?" She asked.
"Everyone at school talks so highly of you and dad. Then they expect so much out of me... Do you know how many times I've been told that I wasn't as good as you or dad?" I cried. She shook her head and looked at me. "Then I find out that dad has been bribing my teacher just so I can have good parts in the school plays?!" I sobbed.
"Scarlett, he was only looking out for you." She whispered.
"I want to make something of myself! Not be in either of your shadows!" I screamed. "I just want to be myself..." I cried.
"You are yourself. You are so much better than everyone too." She said while walking towards me.
"Then why did you guys have to bribe my teacher?" I asked.
"Your father wanted to make sure you were getting what you deserved." She frowned.
"Well congratulations. Everyone in the school hates your daughter for it." I spat. She frowned and walked out of my room. I sat on my bed and continued to cry. She admitted to it. I knew it. Why would anyone pick me for anything?

Pippa's POV
I sat in the living room thinking over every little thing I had done wrong with Scarlett. I tried my best not to let her know she was the best at everything... Lin always made sure she got good spots wherever she was too.
"What's troubling you mom?" Amelie asked while walking out of my room.
"Why were you in my room?" I asked.
"I was drawing. Quiet in there." She said while holding a sketch book in her hands. "Now, what's made you all sad?" She frowned.
"Your sister." I said quietly. She nodded and sat next to me. "Can I see your drawings?" I asked. She shook her head and sat on her sketch book. I shrugged and continued thinking of things I did wrong... I didn't think I did do anything wrong...
"What did Scarlett do?" She asked.
"Well, she is just upset that some kids in school are better than her at a few things..." I lied. "It'll be okay. Your sister will find a way to get over it." I faked a smile and looked at Amelie.
"Not what I heard. But that's okay mom. Thanks for playing anyway." She said while leaving me alone in the living room. I was confused... What was she talking about?
