Scarlett's POV
Mom and I stood near Steven's tombstone and cried silently. I held her hand and felt her kneel down in front of it.
"Mom?" I sniffed.
"I miss you so much..." She whispered. "I don't know what I'm doing anymore." She cried. I knelt down next to her and hugged her. Both of us cried for a while and eventually left the cemetery. We sat together in a diner and picked at our food.
"Everything alright here?" The waitress smiled.
"Yes thank you." Mom forced a smile at her and the waitress left. "Scarlett... If I tell you something, do you promise not to tell your father?" She whispered.
"Yes.." I frowned. I was worried as to what she was going to say...
"I don't think I should be married to your father..." She frowned. "I think I settled for him... The only thing we had in common was you... Don't get me wrong, I do love Lin... But I just don't think I love him in that way anymore..." She sighed. I nodded and held her hand. I saw some tears fall down from her eyes and I felt so bad...
"It's alright mom. I would understand." I gave her a small smile and she nodded slowly. I knew things weren't going to last long with them. I was honestly surprised when it lasted as long as it did.

Heather and I ran through each other's lines in my room while mom and dad talked. I kept my door cracked open just in case something happened. I heard dad start to get loud in the living room and stopped reading with Heather.
"What? Was it bad?" She frowned.
"No... Just.. Hang on." I frowned while getting up.
"What do you mean you settled!?" Dad yelled.
"I just feel like I did! I married you because of Scarlett! Then I only stayed with you because of the twins..." Mom cried. "I really do love you Lin, just not in that way anymore." I frowned when I heard those words... I knew she was telling the truth. I saw Amelie peek from her room too. She ran into my room and hugged Heather.
"So this is it? You're just going to leave me now?" Dad whispered.
"I don't know..." Mom sniffed. I walked out of my room and looked at them. I had tears in my eyes when I saw mom sitting on the couch crying. and dad standing up looking at her like she was a stranger in the house.
"Are all of the kids crying?" Dad frowned when he saw me.
"Yes." I sniffed.
"Just great! Wonderful!" He flipped his shit and I shook my head.
"Dad!" I yelled. He stopped and looked at me. "I know you aren't happy right now. None of us are. You and mom may have had something before that was special and cute, but right now, mom needs someone who is going to make sure she's taken care of." I frowned. "And that person isn't you." I said while walking towards mom.
"So there is another man!" He yelled while walking out of the living room. Mom continued crying like she was going to break down at any moment. I frowned at her emotional state and started crying with her.
"Are you going to divorce dad?" Alejandro frowned. Mom didn't answer, but he walked over to hug us. "Scarlett and I will take care of you mom." He smiled. "Don't worry."
"Thank you." Mom cried.

Mom worked with the girls of the musical, while dad worked with the guys. Bea, Georgina, and Taylor all noticed that I wasn't completely in character at all when we started.
"You need to loosen up." Bea frowned.
"I know... I'm trying..." I sighed.
"What's bothering you?" She asked.
"Just personal stuff. I can't say until it actually happens." I shrugged. She nodded and hugged me. Mom looked off her game, but I knew it was only because she wasn't sleeping. We were running through the music trying to get it right, but it was impossible. Things weren't flowing since we needed guys to work with us, but we agreed to just work separate for now.
"Take a break girls." She said while sitting back in her seat. "I'm sorry this isn't working." She frowned.
"It's fine Pippa." Taylor smiled. "We're trying for you." She was always knowing what to say. I was surprised that everyone was so calm during this. I heard footsteps coming from behind us and saw the guys walking in.
"Let's get everyone acquainted with each other and work with the girls." Roger smiled. Mom looked up and frowned.
"Where's Lin?" She asked.
"He's working on some scenes." Roger shrugged. Mom sighed and looked at us. "Alright! Everyone talk with each other, then we will work on the songs that have the entire company together!" He smiled. I shrugged and saw a few guys walking over to us.
"Hey, who plays Jess?" The tallest one asked.
"I do." I smiled at him. He sat next to me and I felt my heart flutter... He was so beautiful. He had dark green eyes and dark brown hair... His face was just perfect.... Well to me it was.
"The name is Ignacio." He said while extending a hand. "I play Harold." He smiled.
"Scarlett. You already know my part." I laughed nervously. Everyone talked for a while, enjoying each other's company. After we talked, we ran through the songs and I felt myself getting everything confused. But it was okay for right now since we were barely working on the songs together. When we finished, dad was standing in the wings glaring at Ignacio. Mom wasn't though...
"So, do you want to go out for a drink or food when we finish?" He asked.
"Sure..." I smiled. I could feel myself blushing, of course, it made him smile... I ran to my girls and squealed. "What does love feel like?" I quoted my own character.
"It feels like garbage." Bea spat.
"It feels like you're falling into an endless pit but you don't know if you'll land into a pit of good or a pit of bad." Taylor laughed.
"Oh how I feel this!" I laughed with them and they looked at him and me. "And not just in a character way... I really do feel like I'm crushing on him... Hard.."
