*Two Years Later*
Pippa's POV
"Aren't you worried that your daughter is following in both yours and your husband's shadows?" A reporter asked me.
"I'm not worried at all. I told her from the beginning that if she wanted to be an actress then she needed to make her own path. So far she's been a wonderful actress and a profound singer. She has been able to handle anything that is thrown her way and now she's doing what she loves." I smiled.
"She's a very talented girl and I'm not surprised that Tommy had called her. But when she wanted to play the role that she is now, it shocked me. I thought she would want to play me!" Lin laughed. I nodded and we made our way through the crowds of people. The whole original cast was back and we mingled with everyone.
"I'm so proud of her!" Renee smiled.
"I feel honored to have her play my part." Jasmine gasped. "I know she'll do me proud!" She cried.
"I'm happy for her too." I smiled.
Everyone was getting pictures taken, people were signing things, answering questions. It was a huge mess and a half too. The new cast was walking around talking with everyone while they could. Scarlett found us and made her way over.
"I only have a few more minutes out here, but I just wanted to thank you both." She smiled at us. "I don't know where I would be without you guys." She said while hugging both Lin and I.
"We love you so much." I smiled. "Now go knock 'em dead." I whispered. Lin kissed her forehead and we watched her run backstage with her Schuyler sisters. Alejandro and Amelie were excited for their sister, both not knowing how to eve deal with this much press.
"Mom, how did you do this when you were younger?" Amelie groaned.
"I just smiled and waved." I laughed.
"And it works every time." Lin winked at me.

Scarlett's POV
"Daddy said not to go downtown!" I had been rehearsed my entire life for this. Every line came out so flawlessly. Like I was made for this.
"It's bad enough daddy wants to go to war..." I pouted. I knew mom was watching my every move. As was Jasmine. I did look up to her growing up. She was an honorary aunt to me. I looked up to mom as well, but every single actor and actress from Hamilton had played such a vital role in my life. And here I was, playing the same characters that they had.
We continued through, all the way up to intermission, I didn't want to stop! The adrenaline was pumping through my veins and I had to prepare myself for the next act.
"You're doing great!" One of the ensemble girls smiled.
"Thank you!" I called while running to my dressing room. My wardrobe assistance helped me out of my dress and into the new red one. After that, I was sat down for hair and make up. I couldn't help but feel giddy about the next act. Here was where my true acting was going to lie.... a knock at the door interrupted my thoughts and I saw Jasmine peeking into my room.
"Sorry. I just had to come by here without anyone seeing me!" She squealed. I smiled and held out my hand for her to hold. "You're going to do great out there."
"I hope so." I frowned.
"You will! You knocked the socks off of everyone out there! Everyone thought you were going to be Eliza. How funny is it going to be when you walk out and play Maria." She whispered.
"I can't wait. I'm enjoying myself too much." I giggled.
"I remember when you were just this little girl bouncing on the couch. Yelling 'and Peggy' at the top of your lungs." She smiled. "Now look at you. Getting to yell, 'and Peggy' but to a huge audience every night." She laughed.
"Time does fly when you're bouncing on couches." I smirked.
"I'm going to get back before everyone notices I'm not there anymore. Break a leg!" She said while leaving. I smiled and couldn't wait to get back out there.
~~~~
"I didn't know any better!" I cried while falling to the floor. I was killing it. Getting every cue, every note. I couldn't believe it. "Just give him what he wants and you can have me!" I sang.
I could feel my father's eyes on me. It was beginning to get awkward, but hey that's showbiz. Ignacio was probably wanting to punch this guy in the face but hey... He knew what I was doing.
~~
"Who lives, who dies, who tells your story." Everyone sang. The audience roared with applause and I couldn't help but cry... I had done it. I was standing in the same spots that everyone had stood before me...
Pippa's POV
"Scarlett be careful! You're going to get hurt if you run out there and they accidentally turn on the turntable." I scolded.
"I know momma! I wanna try it!" She giggled. "Just like you!" She beamed.
~~
"Why can't I go on stage momma? I promise I'll hold in my coughs." She coughed. I frowned and picked her up. She was still fighting her cold.
"Maybe when you're older." I whispered.
~~
"Did you see that?! Did you see what I did?!" She gasped while running towards me. She had just finished playing her role as one of the orphans in her school's production of Annie.
"You were wonderful!" I cheered.
~~
"You're growing into a fine young actress." I smiled.
"Thanks mom." Scarlett smiled while wiping off her stage make up. Only thirteen and she was snagging leads left and right.
~~
"Mom! Mom! I got into Juilliard!" She gasped.
"Oh my gosh... Really?!" I smiled while taking the letter from her. She had finally done it...
~~
"Ladies and Gentleman, the new revived cast of Hamilton!" The loud speaker announced. I couldn't help but cry seeing my daughter on stage. Lin saw my tears and wrapped an arm around me.
"She's going to be fine." He whispered.
"I know... she's all grown up." I sniffed.
