Lin's POV

"Lin! Are you even listening to me?" I looked up from my laptop and did not hear a word Phillipa just spoke to me. "Figures." She scoffed.

"Sorry, I'm a little busy here. What is so important?" I groaned.

"Your daughter has been asking for your help understanding your music pieces. If you want her to find the flaws in your sheet music you need to maybe write a little clearer." She said while throwing the pages of music on the desk.

"They're fine! Look, I can read them!" I said while starting to sing the melody.

"Of course you can! You wrote them! How is she supposed to help you if she can't read it? I can't even read it! There are so many scratched out notes that it's impossible to tell if you wanted an eighth note or a half!" She yelled while walking out of my office space.

"Well maybe if you weren't so worried about your things you would've seen me write it!" I called out. I heard her slam some doors, possibly the cabinet doors, and yell a bunch of words that were inaudible to me. I groaned and pushed my laptop away from me. Of course we would fight on the most impossible day of the week. "What is your problem!?" I yelled.

"Nothing! You always forget! And then brush it off like it doesn't even matter!" She yelled while packing the kids' lunches for tomorrow.

"What did I forget this time?" I mocked.

"I'm glad you said that. Because this... this was all your idea! Remember?! Waking me up so early in the morning twelve years ago!" She screamed. "But it's fine. Everything is fine." She sniffed. I watched her put the lunch bags in the fridge and grab her keys. "I'll be back later." She said while leaving.

"Oh fuck.." I whispered. Our anniversary... How could I forget?! We've been married for twelve years already?

Pippa's POV

I went to the one place that everyone could possibly find me. If course, the theatre wasn't all that packed yet. I always kept my bag in my car just in case on a day off to be called in. I stood in my ensemble uniform waiting for the call to stage.

"You look tense." One of the girls frowned.

"My husband forgot our anniversary. Again." I sighed.

"Aw.. I'm sorry. We'll go out an celebrate without him then!" She smiled. "It'll be a great gift to you! Not that your kids aren't cute or anything to be around. I'm just offering up suggestions." She said while fixing her makeup.

"I know... But what if he never remembers? It always seems to be at a bad time for him." I frowned. "I'm too busy with Disney, or I'm too tired to go out because I was working with the theatre crew." I mocked. "Ugh!" I said while running my hand over my dress.

"Pippa, calm down. Things are going to be okay. I'm sure he will make it up to you." She smiled.

"You don't understand Abbey..." I frowned. "He always makes it up to me, but for once I would appreciate it if we could just celebrate it on the day it's supposed to be celebrated on." I sighed. "And if it's not our anniversary, then it's always going to be something else. He almost didn't come home in time for the twins' birthdays, or Scarlett's. He was more focused on work and didn't care. It's gotten to the point where Scarlett doesn't even want to celebrate her birthday." I groaned while walking through to the stairs.

I decided to stagedoor tonight and saw a bunch of smiling faces. I signed a bunch of playbills and made my way back in to find my things. I handed out a couple gifts from fans to the others who weren't coming out tonight.
