Scarlett's POV
"What do you mean your mother is in the hospital?!" Dad yelled. "Why didn't you tell me?!" He repeated himself while pacing in my dressing room. "When did this happen?!"
"Dad chill out." I sighed. "Mom just went in because she's sick. Nothing too huge. Just enough to make the doctors worry. She's coming home tomorrow and that's the end of it." I shrugged while fixing my hair. He was always such a huge worry wart...
"Which hospital?" He asked.
"Why do you need to know?" I asked.
"I need to know." He spat.
"Memorial." I answered. He nodded his head once, then left. I groaned at his temperament. He was probably going to go ruin her day and make her heart rate jump up.

Lin's POV
I needed to make sure she was okay. She needed to know that I did still care about her. I walked down the hallways of the hospital, hoping that she would be okay. I knew she was, but still... When I saw her in the hospital bed, I knew that she had to be in pain... All of this reminding me of when she was in the hospital with the twins...
"Hey..." I finally mustered to say. She looked up from her book and shut it.
"Hi." She sighed.
"Scarlett told me you were here... Well... I freaked out then she told me." I laughed nervously.
"I'm fine. I'm going home tomorrow." She said quietly. "How is the show doing?" She asked.
"Great! We've gotten a lot of great reviews. I'm thinking that we will be going to Broadway soon." I smiled. She nodded and gave me a small smile. I missed waking up to that smile everyday... "I know that now probably isn't the best time, but it's never going to be a great time to bring it up... I really want to try everything with you again... I feel so lonely and I don't want anyone else." I frowned. "I know you're still getting over everything, but please, give us a chance again... Even if it's just for the kids. I miss waking up to your smiling face, and I miss just living with you."
"Lin.." She started. "I miss waking up next to you too..." She frowned. "But I... I just don't know." She sighed.
"Please think about it." I said while taking her hand. "I don't expect anything immediate. Just please..." I frowned.
"Maybe after I heal properly... And after all of this stress of the show. If we make it to Broadway or not." She smiled. I smiled with her and laughed.
"Oh I think we'll make it to Broadway. Our daughter is killing it on stage. Especially when she begins to sing about her love for Harold." I smiled.
"She's killing that song because what she's singing about is true." Pippa laughed. I gasped and looked at her. "Did you not know? Her and Ignacio have been dating ever since rehearsals started." She covered her mouth and laughed.
"I did not! How could they keep that from me?!" I asked.
"Because they're a stage couple. It's easy to think that they would never be together outside." She shrugged. "But Ignacio asked for my blessing to marry her, so I approved." She added.
"Why didn't he ask me?" I frowned.
"He was afraid of you. Plus, he was already at the apartment when Scarlett and I were home." She explained. I nodded and looked at her. She did look a lot better. She wasn't as pale anymore, the color was slowly coming back to her. "What?" She asked.
"Nothing... Just taking it all in." I smiled. She shook her head and opened her book back up. I realized that she still hadn't taken her hand away from mine either... A little sign of hope for me.

Scarlett's POV
"Bring it on!" I yelled while running towards Taylor. We had found giant bubble body suits that we had blown up. Of course this was our way of unwinding after shows. We stayed after we stagedoored and decided the only flat space that was big enough to do this was on stage.
"Could you imagine if Lin added this to the musical." Bea laughed while rolling on the floor. I bounced off of Taylor and laughed.
"It would be impossible to add into the show." Georgina said loudly. "You'd have to add like four ensemble numbers just for the stupid things to be blown up!" She said while standing up.
"Then you have to stand in it while it's blowing up too." I frowned. "But once it's all done and ready, it's so much fun!" I giggled.
"Now why are you guys having all of this fun here?" I looked up and saw Scott, Robert and Leonard standing on the second story of the stage.
"Hey we got permission to stay here for a while longer. That and my dad think's we're rehearsing." I laughed. The boys started laughing at me since I was engulfed in a giant bubble. Of course, with my back turned, Taylor came running at me full force to bounce off of me. I flew over and bounced against the wall.
"Oh my god, why didn't we find these sooner?" She laughed.
"Maybe because we never thought they would be this much fun." Georgina laughed louder.
"Guys! I can't get up! Help!" Bea yelled. She was still rolling around and having problems getting up. Robert and Scott started laughing really hard and started taking pictures of us. Leonard walked down to help Bea and helped me out of my bubble suit.
"Thanks Leo." I smiled.
"No problem." He smiled back. I moved my arms around, trying to get used to having arms again and saw that my phone was lit up with notifications. I frowned and saw that some of them were from mom. Mostly them explaining dad's visit during the performances. I smiled at the fact she was trying to get back with him and giving him a chance. They were completely different people, but they were trying. I decided to go on social media to check what was what and saw one of dad's posts...
'Lin_Manuel: She may be incredibly sick, but still is incredibly beautiful!!'
I smiled at the photo he took of them together, and my mom was incredibly beautiful. No doubt about it. And I loved how only close family members knew about the divorce. Mom never changed her name on any social media accounts, but everyone who knew her knew she was married. Everyone outside of our little bubble knew nothing of the divorce at all.
