Nicholas planned to announce Olive and Alexei's engagement when all of the Romanovs visited him in the hospital room later the next day, which Olive couldn't be nervous for enough. She swore she could almost picture Anastasia rolling her eyes saying, "Its about time.", or Maria's cooes and sweet aws. She wasn't sure how Alexandra or Tatiana would react, but she knew both of them approved of her, especially Tatiana. Olga would be excited, as well as Emma, who was on her tail about getting married and having children since she had completed those steps. Miss Peregrine however, may be a bit skeptical of Olive becoming Tsarina of Russia, though that wasn't going to happen for a while, or at least after the wedding.

She was mainly nervous about how Russia and the rest of Alexei's family would react. She had met most of his father's side of the family, but she hadn't met anyone in his mother's at the Balls. She had seen pictures of his mother's family before, when he had shown her some photo albums of when Alexandra and Nicholas were children. Alexei looked quite a bit like Alexandra, but Olive though he looked like Nicholas more as a child. Olive didn't remember much about her parents, but she remembered her mother having her green eyes and red hair, but her facial features looking more like her father. She didn't care to see more about her parents, given the fact her mother walked out on her thinking she was a
demon, and her father's mental and physical abuse.

Alexei hadn't had the easiest childhood either, as Olive could tell. It wasn't that Alexandra and Nicholas hadn't treated him right or mistreated him in any way, his disease had just blocked him from doing many things, and also caused him a lot of pain throughout the years, like his arm recently. Olive hated seeing him in pain, it was almost unbearable. Thankfully, Alexei could now function properly with his arm, which had nothing left but a cut and a faint bruise surrounding it, which was drastic change from his the injury had originally been.

Olive was in the hallway now, walking through the hospital in attempt to get something to eat at the barracks, but a figure walking down the hallway made Olive stop. It was Alexei, who was coming back from the waiting and cafeteria section of the hospital Olive guessed, though her smile made her not really care where he was coming from. Alexei saw her, snapping to attention with a smile on his face, and he walked just a bit faster towards her. "Why hello, Olive. What are you doing in the hallway?" Alexei asked, stopping in front of her, though he was smiling. Olive rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Am I not allowed to walk in the hallways? I didn't know you had to be the Tsarevich of Russia to roam the halls without being interrogated. " Olive said, though she hoped he could tell she was only teasing.

Alexei smiled, pulling her close to him in the dark hallway. "You don't, I was just curious. " Alexei said chuckling and planting a kiss on Olive's forehead, making her blush though no one was in the hallway to see. She didn't know how, or why for that matter, he managed to make her blush even after all this time of them being together. "I was going to get something to eat," Olive stuttered, which made her blush grow as fiery as her hair. "I'm assuming that's what you were doing?" She asked, hoping her blush want standing out as much as she thought it was against her pale skin.

Alexei chuckled, rolling his eyes at her blush. "Yes I was." He confirmed, titling his head to the side as if he were thinking. "Are you overheated? You're face is so red." He asked teasingly, making Olive swat at his good arm playfully, not hard enough to hurt him in any way. "Oh stop! I've had enough of your teasing,  Alexei Romanov." She scolded playfully, and she couldn't resist the smile that crept up onto her lips. Alexei laughed, grabbing her by her waist and pulling her closer. "Alright, I'll stop. For now." He said, smiling down at her.

He had a huge advantage of height on her, at least a foot and a half. Olive was very short and small for her age, which she remembered her father being. Enoch wasn't honestly very tall, but he had towered over her a bit too. Alexei was tall like Nicholas, and Olive guessed he must get that from his father's side of the family since Alexandra was so short. "You better, you're not too old to get in trouble, Alexei." Olive said, titling het head as a bit of a warning. He was playful most of the time - like Nicholas, Anastasia, Olga, and sometimes even Alexandra-  but other times he was so sweet and caring that she had no clue how she had gotten the privilege to be with someone like him.

"I know that. " Alexei stated, nuzzling the top of her head with his nose, making Olive giggle. "Alexei! Stop!" She said, squirming a bit while her laughter came out. Alexei smiled triumphantly,  laughing a bit. "You're ticklish aren't you?" He asked, and Olive shook her head defensively, and if she had her arms free from around Alexei, she would cross them. "No! I'm not!" She protested,  and Alexei shook his head, smiling. "Okay, whatever you say love." He said, and Olive could sense the teasing he promised to quell in his voice.

"Alexei, what am I going to do with you?"
