27: Yoonji's First Word

"Hyung, why are you not swimming?" Jimin asked Hoseok.
"I'm tired. No energy. Ugh!" Hoseok said lying down on the floor.

You set a tray of snacks on a table near the pool. The boys decided to swim in the pool. You don't know why but this is the first time someone actually used the pool for its actual purpose since you came to this house.

"Y/N-ah?" You heard that voice making you rush into the house.

You saw Yoongi as you ran through the kitchen. You both stopped and smiled at each other like idiots. He walked to you and hugged you tightly.

"I miss you." He whispered.
"Shut up! We haven't even parted for more than a day! You were gone for only a few hours!"
"Says the girl who immediately run when she heard ny vovoic" He said making you smile. "Wait. Where's Yoonji and why do I hear the boys?"
"Ummm. I needed a babysitter." You said grinning at him.
"You mean you babysit for 6 babies and 1 real baby."

He sighed before leading you back to the pool area. Jungkook had just jumped into the pool. You went to Taehyung who was holding Yoonji.

"Hello, my princess. Did you miss me?" Yoongi said as he took Yoonji from Taetae.
"I thought her a word!"
"Jinjja?! But she doesn't speak yet."
"HA! I'm a genius from Harvard!" Taehyung said proudly.
"Harvard my ass."
"Believe me! Come on, Yoonji-ya!~ Say it! Pa,"
"P-pa..." Yoonji managed to say shocking you and Yoonji.
"Shit!"
"Is this real?!"
Jungkook shouted as he rushed to Yoonji. "Heol!"
"Hobi! You got to hear this!"

The boys all crowded around Yoonji waiting to hear her speak her first word. You all waited excitedly. She giggled seeing Taehyung trying to encourage her to continue. Hoseok was already crying tears of joy.

"P-pa..."
"She's going to call you papa! Her first word is papa! Papa means father in many languages! She's calling you! You're really a father now, hyung!" Namjoon said excitedly while shaking Jin.
"Stop shaking! I'm not Yoongi! You're making me dizzy, Namjoon-ah!~" Jin complained.
"P-pa, pabo!"

You froze for a second and looked at Yoongi. He was staring at your daughter. The boys all looked at Taehyung who was smiling proudly.

"Pabo!" She repeated.
"That's right! Ji. Min. Ie. Pa. Bo!" Taehyung said.
You closed your eyes. "KIM TAEHYUNG!"

And there goes peace. They all threw him into the pool before they jumped in too. They splashed water towards him. They ended playing in the pool. You looked at Yoongi who was still holding Yoonji.

"You look happy." You told him.
"Who wouldn't be? Our daughter just said her first word!" He said crying.
"Yah! Now you're crying. Uljima! Probably because her first word is pabo." You said laughing.
"Ani. These are tears of joy. I'm just proud of her. Just make sure you keep our next child away from Taehyung, ok?" He said making you laugh again.

The day felt endless but of course night came. Their manager came to bring them clothes because Yoongi's won't fit all of them. After bathing and eating dinner, you all headed to separate rooms. Good thing the house has enough rooms to accommodate all of you.

You went to your bedroom with Yoongi after checking that the boys are all comfortable in their rooms. You sat on the bed and stared at the ring on your finger. You couldn't help but smile. Yoongi let himself drop on the bed after putting Yoonji on her cot.

"Ugh! I'm so tired." He groaned.
"How was your trip?"
He looked at you and rolled on the bed to reach you. "My mother was a bit angry." He said hugging your legs.
"Mwo?! Wae?!"
"Well, apparently either my father or my brother told her about how we started out. That we initially didn't like each other."
"I already like you then though."
"Ah! Yeah. Right. But the point is..."

He paused to sit. He sat beside you and took your hand. He kissed the back of your hand and looked at you. Your heart was about to fangirl when your brain reminded you that you're not just a fan anymore. You need to get used to this. You'll be Mrs. Min soon. And that...that made you screech a little.

"Are you ok?!"
"No but continue talking."
He laughed at you before resting his head on your shoulder. "She thought I brought you to Daegu because of Yoonji."
"Well, you did."
"Ani. I brought you to Daegu because..." He cleared his throat and looked at you. "...I already like you then."
"JINJJA?! YOU WERE BULLYING ME!"
"What do you expect from me?! I didn't know how to tell you and I somehow made you angry and insulted you. It's crazy if I would tell you I like you after all the things I said!" He explained.
You laughed at him. "Fine. Is she still mad?"
"Aninde. She likes you too much. She said we should have named Yoonji after you because you're such an angel."
"Looks like I'm your mom's favorite."
"Keep dreaming, alien!" He said pinching your nose.
"Ouch! That fucking hurts!"
"Sssshhh! Why are you cursing?! Yoonji is just a few feet away! Do you want her second word to be fucking?!"

You stared at him before lying down. Defeated! He laughed and lied down too. You turned your back to him stubbornly. He in turn hugged you from behind.

"Aigoo! Nae anae is mad because I scolded her."
"You call that scolding?"
"Hmmm. No."
"Idiot."

He was silent for minutes so you thought he's asleep. You were about to get up to check Yoonji but he pulled you back making you stay.

"Stay here. I'll check her later." He said as if he just read your mind.
"Where did you buy the cake? It tastes great."
"What cake?"
"The one that came earlier."
He sat up and frowned. "Earlier? I didn't buy any cake."
"Aish! Stop denying it! What's the point? You even put 'From: Yoonji's father'. Why are you denying it?!"
"I didn't..."
"Aish! Stupid! Forget it. Let's just sleep. Don't forget to check her diaper."

He nodded. You decided to sleep. Today was too tiring.
