"Hah! Beat your ass again" I stuck my tongue at Grayson, rubbing my victory all over his face. He groaned in annoyance and threw himself to the sofa, running a hand through his silky brown hair.
"Not fair, you cheat!" He pointed his finger at me.
I gasped. "How so?!"
"you keep pushing me while we drive!" He said defensively.
"That's not cheating, it's an strategy of mine!"
He laughed. "Yeah, right"
I rolled my eyes, smiling as I placed a cigarette in between my lips. I felt his eyes glued to my every movement.
"Oh, can I?" I mumbled with the cigarette still stuck in between my lips, the lighter just a few inches away it.
"Uh" He scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, I guess, I mean Ethan does it sometimes"
"At what time do your parents get back home?"
"Around dinner time"
My eyes glanced at the big clock hung on the wall. Knowing it was only 6 I knew a quick light would be possible.
I shrugged and lit the cigarette up, inhaling the substances of it as I shoved the lighter back into my pocket.
"What?" I chuckled, holding the cigarette in between my forefingers, letting the smoke leave my lungs.
He looked away, chuckling. "N-Nothing, I just.." He trailed off.
"You just what?" I chuckled along.
"I've always wondered what it tasted like" He said, staring at me.
I smiled, and offered him the cigarette. "Try it"
"But I don-"
"Gray, It's just one puff, it's not gonna kill you" I encouraged him.
He was very hesitant at that very moment, but eventually accepted the offer and took the cigarette with his forefingers, just as I did and placed it in between his lips.
He looked at me, unsure of his own actions, but then took a puff. It was followed by a few strong coughs afterwards, making me giggle.
"Ugh" He coughed. "It's so gross I don't know how you freaking sip on that every day" He passed the cigarette back to me, with a disgusted face on.
I laughed even harder at his expression and took a long puff myself, enjoying the taste and the feeling of the smoke spreading inside my body.
"You simply say that because you're not used to it" I smiled proudly.
He raised an eyebrow, his face still plastered with a disgusted face. "I don't think I wanna get used to it" He mumbled, taking a sip of his canned soda to remove the taste from his mouth.
"How did you get used to it?" He asked out of the blue.
I killed the cigarette, and shoved some chips to my mouth. "People have their own reasons when it comes to smoking." I explained.
"Some smoke just because they think it's cool. Others, because they tried it once and became addicted. Then there's me and probably some other people who do it for other reasons"
"And those are?"
"One, to remove hunger. People who are homeless usually smoke, because smoking actually does that to your body. Two, because it calms you. Three because you like the taste"
"Is there a fourth reason?"
It took me a while before being able to answer his question. I nodded. "People that don't wanna live anymore but are afraid of dying"
He nodded, both of us looking at everywhere and anywhere but each other's eyes. We left the topic aside and decided to resume the Mario Kart game.
Within hours and hours of just eating junk food, drinking coke and playing endless rounds of the Wii game, the time ticked 8 o'clock.
The twins' parents had finally arrived, incluiding his older sister, Cameron. Grayson introduced me nicely to all of them, as I shook their hands with a small, awkward smile plastered on my face, and giving them a hug too.
I was about to leave the house, when they all practically insisted for me to stay and eat dinner with them.
I helped them organize the table, putting on the plates. Ethan came down in a matter of seconds, his smirk re-appearing once he saw me.
I noticed my cheeks heat up, but I ignored it and put the plates on the table. Once everything was set, we all sat down.
They sat in the following order, from left to right, in one row, we had Cameron, Lisa and Sean, then in another row, there was Ethan, me and Grayson.
I did not remember why did I sit between the twins. But they didn't seem to mind and I didn't wanna be disrespectful towards the food.
We said grace and started eating.
They attacked me with questions, one by one. Sean started first, asking me about how did I met the twins. Lisa followed, asking me where I lived. Then Cameron followed, asking me how old I was.
Dinner was a pleasing event, until I felt something creeping up on my thighs.
I looked down to see Ethan's fingers, caressing my thighs up and down with the tip of his fingers.
