Right after the proposal, we began preparing everything for the wedding, starting off with my wedding dress.

I was shown lots of dresses. Tried many of them but couldn't choose. I was so indecisive when it came to these stuff.

I tried on the last dress and fixed my hair a little. I walked in the room, having everybody's attention at once.

"Well," I looked down at the dress. "How about this one?"

The assistant gasped and covered her mouth, nodding excitedly. "This one looks perfect! What do you think? Do you like it?" She asked, grinning from ear to ear.

I flashed her a small smile and turned around to look at myself in the mirror, when all of a sudden, the door opens, and Ethan enters but freezes once he sees me.

His eyes scan me from head to toe.

"Damn" He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his head. I giggled. "What do you think Ethan?"

"I love it, baby, it looks so damn perfect on you" He walked over to me and smiled, hugging me from behind and giving my temple a small kiss.

We watched ourselves in the mirror, smiling and talking about everything and anything related to the wedding.

I decided to get that last dress I tried on and left the store, thanking the assistant before doing so.

"Well babygirl, I have to take care of the rest, but you can go home and rest for a little bit, okay?" He said, stopping at a red light.

"I want to help" I whined, earning a small chuckle from him. He leaned and kiss the top of my head.

"Tomorrow baby. I want you to get some rest."

I took a deep breath and smiled at him, mumbling an okay. He dropped me off at our apartment and I waved goodbye at him.

But as soon as I turned to open the door, I notice a black cat in the corner of my eye, staring at me.
