"Ethan Grant Dolan, quieres recibir por esposa a Raine Hernández, y prometes serle fiel, tanto en la prosperidad como en la adversidad, en la salud como en la enfermedad,

amándola y respetándola durante toda su vida?"

"Si quiero"

The priest turned to me and flashed me a small smile, before his eyes landed back on the little book in his hands.

That day, I felt the most guilty.

"Raine Hernández, quieres recibir por esposo a Ethan Grant Dolan, y prometes serle fiel tanto en la prosperidad como en la adversidad, en la salud como en la enfermedad, amándolo y respetándolo durante toda su vida?"

I wasn't lying when I told Ethan I loved him. But not like I loved Grayson. So I told myself something. A little proposal for myself.

If I saw Grayson before the wedding, before me walking down the isle, I would back down, and stop lying to myself about having done the right thing. If not, the wedding would proceed and marry Ethan.

Thing was, he wasn't there.

"Si, quiero" He didn't appear.

The priest finally flashed us both a smile and signed with his hands for us to lean forward. "Ethan, puedes besar a la novia" He announced.

Ethan turned to me, and I turned to Ethan. He cupped my face, studying my features as if it was the first time he had seen me, then placed his lips on top of mine, smiling through the kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed back, smiling.

People began cheering and clapping and watched us get in a black carriage with golden-like details.

We left towards the beach. There, we waited for the people to arrive. We were serving lunch in a restaurant, which was located in the perfect spot to witness the sun going down.

As people began arriving, we began greeting them, shaking hands with them and giving them small, friendly hugs, thanking them for coming to our wedding.

Jannie came. As so did Jack and Aaron, plus many other classmates Ethan used to have. Other than that I do not remember very well, whom I met there and who was who,

but as time passed by and the sky got darker, I do remember, seeing one familiar face among the crowd.

It was dark, and it was hard to decode its features.

I walked closer, to take a better look.

Its head was low, staring at the ground. He was holding his blazer in his hand, and a drink in the other.

The tattoos on its forearms and neck showed. And when he raised his gaze to meet mine, my pupils dilated and my heart clenched as soon as I realized whom I was staring at.

"Grayson" I whispered to myself.

But once I finished pronouncing his name, his silhouette disappeared.

I didn't know if I was going crazy, or if I was beginning to see things, so I had to check for myself, if my eyes were not deceiving me.

I excused myself from the group of people I was supposeadly talking to and walked all the way to the back of the restaurant, where I witnessed his shadow go.

My palms were sweating cold sweat, and I could feel my heart pounding through my chest, as if it was going to break my ribs and escape my own body.

The closer I got to the back of the restaurant, the more paranoid I was getting. The more anxious I felt.

With two last steps, I finally arrived. I thought my eyes were deceiving me, but they weren't. Because he was there, standing right in front of me.

Dark. Black suit. Same old tattoos. Hands in pocket.

That was it. That was the one and only, Grayson Dolan.
